"I recently returned from my Maui vacation of 2 weeks at the Royal Mauian. This is the 7th time I've stayed at the Royal Mauian out of the 9 times I've visited Maui in the last 16 years. I keep returning to this property because I find it to be the perfect place for a wonderful Mauian vacation. It is just steps away from two beautiful beaches. Good snorkeling right in front of condo. This time we saw a family of 4-5 turtles! The roof top garden is great for BBQs and to watch the sunset while eating. The property continues to be very well maintained. The swimming pool area is clean and quiet. You have everything you need just around the condo: stores, restaurants, water sports rentals, shaved ice, etc. The one thing that was different with this trip is that it was my first time dealing directly with the condo owner and it proved to be a very good experience. It was great to be able to initially communicate directly with Paul, who really helped me make this vacation possible. He was very kind and understanding. And then, the local property management people he uses to deal with while in Maui are also very pleasant and helpful. Upon arrival to the unit, we found a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates and 2 bottles of water awaiting for us on the dining table. They had gone in prior and turned the lights and the music on to ensure a welcoming ambience. They also offered me their computer, copier, fax machine and their help with anything I needed while in the island. It felt very personal and comfortable to deal with Paul-the owner and with Don and Ken from 5Star Maui Resorts, Inc (their office is across the street from the condo building!). My elderly mother, teenager niece, a friend myself were all very happy with our vacation and truly enjoyed our stay this unit of the Royal Mauian. I would definitely return to this unit and recommend it to friends and family."Guest: jules Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 23, 2014View listing

"We stayed here for 6 nights and it was very comfortable. There were 3 adults and two kids (age 6 and 4). We had plenty of room to spread out. The kids shared the downstairs bedroom which had two large (double/queen) beds. My mom had the master bedroom with an amazing corner view of the ocean. My husband and I stayed in the 2nd bedroom which had the two twin beds converted to a king. The living room furniture is very comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked (coffee makers, crock pot, blender and plenty of dishes, pots, utensils, and spices, plus a community gas grill outside). The outside dining area was great for morning coffee and breakfasts and inviting for dinners and sunsets. The condo overlooks a big grassy area and easy access to sandy beaches on the left and right. There are lots of people wandering by to get from place to place so we had fun people watching. Also a lot of people migrate to this area for sunsets which were fantastic! My kids loved the pool and hot tub, and it was a nice feature to have after a day at the beach. They had lots of beach gear including towels, snorkel equipment (saw turtles just below our unit), and chairs. At the time of our stay there were also 3 hair dryers, a couple of curling irons and a flat iron! Wish I would have known this, although we were at the beach so often, I rarely styled my hair! We met the owners when they were stopping by to check the hot tub and work in the yard. They are a very nice couple and asked for our feedback. They really want to make this place comfortable! This property is gated, which added a nice secure feeling. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves all week. We have already booked this condo for 2016! Can't wait to go back."Guest: Kelko Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 17, 2014View listing
