"We had 6 adults and 1 child. I have to admit, we were not in the condo that much -- out seeing beautiful Maui! The condo was great! As described - clean, well maintained, well stocked and it was great for each couple to have their own bathroom. It had a nice pool and outside grill - which we did not have time to use. The key pad was good because you did not have to worry about keeping up with a key. We loved the snorkeling right across from the condo. It was a thrill to swim with the turtles! We enjoyed the Atlantis Submarine, Sunshine helicopter ride, Te AU Monan Luau (you faced the beach), Day trip to Pearl Harbor, trip to Hana, and just sightseeing in general. Wonderful family time. The condo and activities are all recommend highly!"Guest: Gail S. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 10, 2014View listing
"We are just home from two weeks at this condo. To give you a clear appreciation of how much we enjoyed it, we spent the last few days trying to figure out if we could return to it next year for three weeks. Coralie made the transaction seamless and the entire booking process was done with a few emails. The contract and instruction package was great and offered easy instructions and clarity. On arrival (we arrived very late, 11pm) stopped at Safeway for a days worth of groceries and arrived at the Hale Pau Hana about midnight. The instructions were clear and we were standing on the lanai within minutes looking out at the ocean. It was a gorgeous unobstructed southern view through a few palms. Though the unit could sleep 4 it was just right for the two of us. The unit was exactly as pictured, the kitchen quite newly done and had all the small appliances you needed as well as utensils et al. The rooms nicely appointed and the bedroom great with air conditioning, which was welcome as we had 2 weeks of 88-92 degrees and the wooden blinds kept it dark. The bed comfortable and ensuite a nice feature. The main shower was a very nice size and all bathrooms as well as the rest of the unit were clean. The morning view was grand, looking out at Molokini Atoll, watching the surf and the turtles feeding on the reef. Sunsets and moonsets were incredible. As far as location, the Hale Pau Hana was perfectly situated for restaurants and shops. We were totally enamoured with the condo and location, it lacked nothing."Guest: DJ Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 19, 2014View listing
"Just back from 3 weeks in this condo, what a great spot! Located in the heart of Kihei allowed us to walk everywhere..grocery store, farmer's market, beaches, bus stop, and restaurants. Only rented a car to get to other parts of the island that were too time consuming or unreachable via the bus. Very pleased with the high-end kitchen cookware, utensils and appliances. Bed is super comfy but the tradewinds were so awesome, we fell asleep most nights on the couch while watching tv. Didn't need the AC at all. The view is great and allowed us to judge the surf right from our balcony every morning. If surf is up, you can head right downstairs and rent a board for the day. Having the washer/dryer unit right in the condo was also a huge plus! Wifi works very well, too. Kudos to the Resident Manager, Brian, who was always friendly and kept us well informed as to what was expected of us during the impending hurricanes! Also to Ligia for returning our security deposit so quickly! Overall, we were very pleased with this condo and hope to be returning guests. My only complaint is that the flat screen TV is so big, my husband now thinks our own flat screen is too small!! :-)"Guest: Franny P.
