"Aloha, this was my first experience booking through VRBO and it was certainly a good one. The owner Margarita was very pleasant to deal with and promptly resolved the few small problems I had with her unit in Maui. The condo is tastefully decorated, has a comfortable bed and furniture, is easy to keep clean and very private. Improvements I would suggest .....a better patio set for the lanai or at the very least some chair cushions, definitely not comfortable or inviting! More cupboard space is needed for groceries , would suggest less beach toys and extra glasses to provide the space."Guest: Rita G. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 5, 2014View listing
"Just back from 3 weeks in this condo, what a great spot! Located in the heart of Kihei allowed us to walk everywhere..grocery store, farmer's market, beaches, bus stop, and restaurants. Only rented a car to get to other parts of the island that were too time consuming or unreachable via the bus. Very pleased with the high-end kitchen cookware, utensils and appliances. Bed is super comfy but the tradewinds were so awesome, we fell asleep most nights on the couch while watching tv. Didn't need the AC at all. The view is great and allowed us to judge the surf right from our balcony every morning. If surf is up, you can head right downstairs and rent a board for the day. Having the washer/dryer unit right in the condo was also a huge plus! Wifi works very well, too. Kudos to the Resident Manager, Brian, who was always friendly and kept us well informed as to what was expected of us during the impending hurricanes! Also to Ligia for returning our security deposit so quickly! Overall, we were very pleased with this condo and hope to be returning guests. My only complaint is that the flat screen TV is so big, my husband now thinks our own flat screen is too small!! :-)"Guest: Franny P. "I'll add my voice to the many who say this condo is a great one and Denise (the owner) is wonderful. The view is great, the condo is clean and comfortable, and everything you need is within easy walking distance. The email you receive a couple of weeks before your stay is so full of great information that it's unbelievable! I've never had such great detail before a trip. I will mention two things that might save a few bucks, and illustrate one of the many things that make this one a winner: 1) Avoid shopping for anything until you have checked in. It is highly likely that the people before you left a lot of unopened food, drinks, and condiments. 2) Don't buy or rent beach stuff for the same reason. There is a bunch of it in the closet that Denise provides for her guests. Beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, fins, masks, snorkels, goggles, buckets, etc. I will DEFINITELY stay in Denise's condo again and HIGHLY recommend it to your family."Guest: Brad R. "There is a reason this unit is one of the highest rated most reviewed units. The owners have literally thought of everything to make our stay amazing. Top to bottom this unit is 5-star. Can't wait to come back!"Guest: Tamara A. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 24, 2014View listing
