"The renovations are done and the condo is beautiful! Very efficient storage capacities throughout and all the built-ins makes it feel airy because all of our stuff was able to be put away. The new furniture in the living room is stylish with ample and comfortable seating. The kitchen is so well stocked - just like home. There were all the staples needed in the fridge and cupboards - even left over booze and things like butter and beer! Location is 5 star - walkable to anywhere in the Kihei neighbourhood and of course Kam II beach on your doorstep. Amenities such as lounge chairs on the lawn and heated pool were appreciated. The owner is very organized with ample instructions for everything. Only one thing I would mention, and is easily fixable - the lack of more beach things such as an additional boogie board for the 2nd person; beach umbrella etc, but lots of snorkelling gear is available for your use. The condo has a pull out couch - we did not use it. Also a Murphy bed - we did use it on hot nights with the lanai doors open to let the sea breeze in. Lovely. We highly recommend this unit - it's bright, stylish, and so comfortable!"Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 7, 2014View listing
"It doesn't get any better than this. The unit shares a hot tub and pool with only 3 other units, so we had the pool to ourselves the whole time. The pool is one of the better pools I've seen because the bottom is completely tiled - no raw feet after a week of pool time. The unit had a box of shared snorkel equipment, and boogie boards so that saved us some rentals (lots of masks). Note - the pool has a vacuum gizmo that must be avoided while swimming but it keeps the pool clean. (It's about 7 ft deep in the deep end.) The unit has water views nearly everywhere. The kids slept downstairs in the double-queen room which is below ground so it stayed dark and upstairs noise didn't bother them. The beach is just through the gate and to the left. Snorkel early (8am) out front and you'll most likely see lots of sea turtles, but do it early. This region of the island gets windy from 11am to 5pm so that reduces snorkeling visibility (and bigger waves). The grassy area out side the gate is a public park but doesn't have much traffic. It was nice to have a parking area behind a private gate (the other car parked on the street). Everything is very well maintained. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking equipment and spices. The rental company (Rentals Maui) even has it's own app that has useful info!!!"Guest: Brian G. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 12, 2014View listing
"This condo was absolutely stunning. It is right across the beach. Walk-able distance to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. It's very clean and has everything you can possibly need. Beach gear, tons of towels, cooking spices and ample cooking utensils/pots&pants dishes etc. Free parking for one car, Wifi and long distance calls to US/Canada. We spend every morning eating breakfast on the balcony to take advantage of the warm weather. The condo even has a washer/dryer. Like I said anything and everything you need, this condo has it all. The booking process was very professional. There's even an app for your phone to check in. Nancy even called me to say hi and to check if everything is ok. We loved this condo, it's well priced and we will definitely come back here again and stay at the Maui Vista. Oh and another thing, go fuel up at Costco, its like 50cents cheaper than the regular gas station."Guest: Jade Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 29, 2014View listing
