Clean, comfortable, and quiet!
"We stayed a week in this condo and were very happy. It is located across the street from the beach and a quick walk to restaurants and shops. The condo was very clean and unbelievably quiet, although there are attached condos above and next door, I didn't hear a peep from any neighbors. The owners stock the condo with everything you need (we literally could have just brought clothes) including shampoo, towels, sunscreen, and beach toys/chairs to name a few things. The owner called to check on us to make sure we were happy and comfortable which we were. We have a 1year old daughter and she loved the condo too, and the condo had a pack n play which was very helpful. Nothing bad to say."

"My husband, our 2.5 year old daughter and I just returned from spending 2 weeks in Annette's wonderful condo. It was perfect! Right by the pool and on the ground level so my daughter could go outside and play on the grass.
The condo is right across from the beach but set back from the road so you don't get any street noise (it is building D which is the furthest back building on the property). The condo was clean and extremely well stocked with kitchen supplies, beach chairs, towels, snorkelling gear, an umbrella, boogie boards, 2 coolers and loads of other stuff I probably forgot. There was neighbours on either side of us but we never heard them, the building is nice and quiet.
The location in Kihei is perfect for exploring the island or just settling in and enjoying Kamaole II beach right across the street. It was also great to have the pool right by the condo (my daughter much preferred it to the beach!) and there are BBQs available at the pool area so that's what we did for a lot of our meals.
Annette was wonderful to deal with!! She was quick to respond to any inquiries, she provided lots of detailed information about the island and activities as well as detailed instructions about the condo. She was easily reachable via email at any time prior to, during and after our stay.
We also really appreciated her reasonable rates that allowed us to take this vacation together as a young family. We would stay at Annette's condo again in a heartbeat."

"In a word......LOVELY.
My wife and I wanted to do something special for our 30th anniversary so we chose to spend two weeks in Maui as we had not been there before. Maui is beautiful and we had many unique experiences.
Lynne and Sandy's condo was fantastic. Absolutely no problems and felt like home the minute we arrived.
The condo is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need for a tropical vacation.
We made good use of the easy to pack beach chairs, fantastic umbrella and coolers.
The beach Kameole II is beautiful and we went to watch the sunset almost every night.
Great snorkeling right at this beach. No need to go anywhere else. It is about a 3 minute walk through the condo development and across South Kehei Boulevard. I always wanted to see turtles and having one swim up to within about a foot from my face was really cool.
The location couldn't be any better as there are many restaurants and shops all within a few blocks.
There were boogie boards in the condo and we tried this for the first time as there was big surf one day. We both really enjoyed that. There was even flippers and snorkel masks in the condo but we had brought our own.
Maui was really easy to get around. We drove the road to Hana one day. Drove up to Haleaka crater one day and I really recommend that. Drove to Lahaina a couple of times and went to a luau.
Met a lot of really nice people staying at this development also.
We would not hesitate to stay in Lynne and Sandy's condo again and we hope we can return.
They are very easy to work with.
Thanks so much."

"This was our second time at the Kihei Akahi property, but in a different condo. This one in the C building on the ground floor was a little noisier and during some of the hottest days, rather warmer in the bedroom than the one in the D building where we were before. Still, the condo offered a lot for the price. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a ton of beach equipment. I particularly appreciated the very good umbrella and the backpack beach chairs. The owner was responsive and his condo info was very helpful.
We will keep returning to Kihei. We love all the nearby beaches. My favorite activity is walking from the Akahi down to Kam II and then heading south and walking along all the beaches to Wailea and beyond. We also love how easy it is to find so many restaurants within walking distance. However, we were really glad we had a car so we could drive to N. Kihei for the best shave ice ever - Ululani's and to Pizza Madness for the best pizza. Even more important, a car allowed us to drive up to Haleakala as well as to Waihe'e Ridge for hikes. We even took Hwy 340 around the north side of West Maui (completing the whole loop back to Kihei via Kaanapali). That stretch of 340 is rather exciting and you must go slow, but it is truly beautiful and there are several places to buy homemade banana bread."
