"The property owners made this such an enjoyable trip for me, my husband and kids. There was nothing left to be desired. Condo was clean, spacious, such easy access to parking lot/pool/beach. Plenty of linens, clean updated kitchen -- the little notes posted around about using Wi-Fi or beach gear were so welcoming and made me feel like the owners really wanted us to enjoy and make us feel at home. Excellent location for those w/ kids, too. Sad to be back at work but already planning our next visit to Maui and hopefully, we will be able to avail of the same condo. I'd recommend this for families w/ kids or teenagers but only as long as the kids are not unruly or disobedient. This condo community does have a lot of younger families which was great but as far as teens go or a girls getaway, just note that it's a quiet, peaceful setting and seems people turn in pretty early and it's not really a place for loud partying or a lot of noise. People here seem to respect the peaceful surroundings which is what makes it nice when you want a real break. Also, kudos to the owners who were so accessible and responsive via email before and during our stay. They also gave us excellent suggestions for where to go, activities, etc. so you never felt lost or overwhelmed. I'd return again because of its affordability, prop owners' hospitality and the condo itself. 5 stars from me."Guest: Veronica Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 3, 2014View listing
"If you plan to stay in south Kihei, you will not find a better location and value. This condo was perfect for us - two adults and a 1 1/2 year-old. It is roomy, comfortable, and clean. This condo is a bit dated compared to others in the complex, but it is a corner unit in building 5 so it is ideal. The kitchen has all the basics so we were able to cook a few meals, and our son used the condo's beach toys every day. The pool is a few yards away, but it is not noisy. The lanai faces a large open space on the north side so it is very quiet and private. The staff and neighbors at Kihei Kai Nani are friendly and helpful! KKN is directly across from Kam ll, but close enough to walk to the other two Kam beaches. There are lots of restaurants, shops and a great little grocery store nearby (Hawaiian Moons). The things that could be improved are not a very big deal and would not keep me from staying here again. With that said, some of the curtains and blinds should be replaced soon. Especially in the bedroom because they cannot be closed all the way and it can get pretty bright from the office lights at night and early morning sun. Also, it would have been nice if the unit came with a portable crib (pack-and-play) and stroller. We found out from neighbors that most other units have one, but we had the added expense of renting one. All things considered, we would stay here again!"Guest: ofelia a. "We had a fantastic week staying at this condo! It is situated perfectly across from Kam 2 and the ground floor made for quick and easy access to the BBQs, pools, parking and beaches. It was great for our 8 month old to roam around, and everyone around us was so friendly! The condo is stocked full of everything you would need during your stay and is nicely updated. We hope to be back soon."Guest: Ashley W. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: January 26, 2014View listing
"The condo was immaculate. The furnishings throughout the condo are top notch, comfortable, modern and convenient. We cooked in one night and everything we could think of needing was there. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 was that it gets pretty warm towards the back of the condo. The air conditioning is located in the living room so it's a little tough to get cool air to the bed room. Thankfully my friend preferred a warmer room and I preferred a cooler room so she took the bedroom and I stayed on the pull down bed in the living room and we were all perfectly happy. The pull down bed is incredibly comfortable, btw. There are a lot of options around the condo. A short walk to a couple beaches and plenty of food options. It is definitely more convenient to have a car, but you wouldn't HAVE to have one. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Two thumbs up!"Guest: Nora H.
