"My husband and I recently spent a month in Neal and Joe's beautiful condo and highly recommend it both for the unit itself and even more importantly, for the thoughtfulness and consideration shown us by our hosts. We had to extend our stay due to hurricane Iselle and Neal went out of his way to enable us to stay safe and minimize the potential problems we may have had to face. Thanks! "April 2014 – We just stayed in Linda & Al’s condo for ten days. We loved it! It is very neat and clean and the location is fantastic. We were so glad we had our camera so that we could capture the amazing sunsets every evening. We have two teenage boys who went to the beach whenever they wanted to since we were so close. The condo is close to many conveniences, even Pizza Hut! One night, instead of cooking or going out, we walked up (½ block away), got a pizza and took it back to the condo. The views of the ocean are incredible and can be seen from almost every room – lots of windows! My husband, while relaxing on one of the beautiful lanai’s, was approached by a guest from another condo in the same complex. He had been admiring the air conditioning units. He inquired whether the condo had air conditioning upstairs. When my husband confirmed that indeed it did, he exclaimed “I wish ours did!” The pool is steps from the back door and is kept very clean. We enjoyed our stay so much that we can’t wait to come back. This condo is a great “home away from home.” Thank you, Linda and Al, for sharing your lovely Maui home with us!"Guest: Jenny T. "My first time in Hawaii was absolutely amazing, in part to having such a wonderful place to stay. This condo had everything we could need or want - we even did our laundry a couple times. We spent a ton of time of the lanai just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. We were steps away from the beach, restaurants, surf gear rental, and gas stations. The owner of the condo was such a pleasure to work with, and she made it extremely easy to get things sorted out for the rental. The AC was a blessing. It comes fully equipped with all the beach gear you need to have a great day by the water."Guest: Kristi and Sean Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: August 7, 2014View listing
"This is an EXCELLENT condo and my family had a great stay here. The location is about a three minute walk down the driveway to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. In addition, there are three grocery stores (Foodland, Times and Safeway) within about a 5-10 minute drive so you can easily stock up on whatever you need. The Safeway (most expensive of the bunch) is located in a brand new plaza with a bunch of restaurants. The condo has everything that you need, including a fully equipped, large kitchen, washer and dryer (not quite full size but more than enough), dining area with a table and chairs, living area (pull out sofa couch, a/c unit and TV), two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is a corner unit at the back of the property so there is no noise at all except the birds in the morning (and they can start chirping early). Boogie boards, cooler, chairs and umbrellas for the beach are also available in the condo. Great sunsets at the beach to boot. The drive to Lahaina is about 30-40 minutes so if you are doing a lot of activities there, be prepared for the drive. There is also a golf course (did not play) about a 5 minute drive away. The only thing missing for me would have been an a/c unit in the main bedroom since it could get pretty hot in the condo (lots of fans though) but with electricity prices so high, the one unit in the main area did a good job of cooling down the area. I would highly recommend this property."Guest: Jeffrey F. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 14, 2014View listing
