"The ocean and mountain view from this condo are beautiful. Everyone we encountered in the complex was very friendly and it's about a 10 minute walk from the beach, shopping centres and restaurants. We couldn't be happier with this vacation rental, thank you Steve for welcoming us into your home!"

"This was our 6th. stay in Bill's condo in Kihei. We have returned year after year because this condo really suits our needs. It is located across from a great beach, within walking distance to several restaurants, cinnamon rolls, ice cream and shops. It is always clean and has everything we need. Each year we buy another beach chair or umbrella or some other items to add to the beach equipment. Bill is great to deal with and takes care of any questions. Bill has regularly upgraded any needed appliances or furniture. Thanks Bill, we will be returning again for 3 weeks in 2016."

Affordable, Great Location, Comfy Bed, Well Stocked!
"My husband and I left the kids behind for a 5-year anniversary trip and it was truly a great getaway!
We arrived at Kihei Akhai at about midnight in our arrival date. The late check-in process was quick and painless. The condo was perfectly located for the activities we would want to do during our stay: beach, pool, golf, scuba, tennis, etc. It was also close to restaurants and groceries. We would say the location was "excellent" and that is the most important thing to us.
The condo was by no means spotless, but it was clean enough. I knew what to expect based on the pictures provided in the ad and the pictures were accurate. I was, however thrown off by the following statement in the ad:
"It has been completely renovated in the last year. Almost everything in this beautiful unit is brand new." As a renovator and landlord myself, I feel that this is a deceiving statement. The only thing that we could see was "new"ish is the carpet in the living room and bedroom and maybe some furniture. Everything else was very very dated. Coming back to my comment re: cleanliness, I felt that it was as clean as it could have been considering the sheer age of the shower, counters, tile, appliances, etc.
The condo was well stocked with beach gear, which is something that we appreciated! Also, we were provided with plenty of towels and cooking utensils.
The air conditioning cooled the living room and kitchen very well and with the assistance of the fan in the bedroom we were also a good temperature when we slept. There is a window above the closets in the bedroom that leads out to the hallway and it is not a fixed pane of glass. There wasn't very much sound proofing from the hallway and when someone walked down the hallway talking it sounded like they were in our room! However, this seemed to be a common form of "window" throughout Maui.
Our flight did not leave until 11:30pm on our check out date so I requested a late checkout. I was denied which was a slight disappointment. It would have been nice to have a nap and shower in the early afternoon to make the most of our day. Just a suggestion for future renters: request your late checkout on your first day. Maybe they will be more accommodating?
Anyways, we had a fabulous time in Maui and enjoyed Kihei Akhai very much. We would stay in this property again and would suggest it to others. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your condo, perhaps pay the $200+/night for luxury. if not, this is perfect! Thanks!"

"In a word......LOVELY.
My wife and I wanted to do something special for our 30th anniversary so we chose to spend two weeks in Maui as we had not been there before. Maui is beautiful and we had many unique experiences.
Lynne and Sandy's condo was fantastic. Absolutely no problems and felt like home the minute we arrived.
The condo is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need for a tropical vacation.
We made good use of the easy to pack beach chairs, fantastic umbrella and coolers.
The beach Kameole II is beautiful and we went to watch the sunset almost every night.
Great snorkeling right at this beach. No need to go anywhere else. It is about a 3 minute walk through the condo development and across South Kehei Boulevard. I always wanted to see turtles and having one swim up to within about a foot from my face was really cool.
The location couldn't be any better as there are many restaurants and shops all within a few blocks.
There were boogie boards in the condo and we tried this for the first time as there was big surf one day. We both really enjoyed that. There was even flippers and snorkel masks in the condo but we had brought our own.
Maui was really easy to get around. We drove the road to Hana one day. Drove up to Haleaka crater one day and I really recommend that. Drove to Lahaina a couple of times and went to a luau.
Met a lot of really nice people staying at this development also.
We would not hesitate to stay in Lynne and Sandy's condo again and we hope we can return.
They are very easy to work with.
Thanks so much."
