"Our family of seven adults had the most amazing time at this property. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay as well. We felt right at home with everything we could ever need supplied for us in the condo, including beach items which were so appreciated.. The location was perfect - so close to the beautiful beach, restaurants and easy access for all of our sightseeing trips. Highly recommended!"Guest: fasty7 Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 3, 2014View listing
"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. This was the best deal and value for our money by far! The owner Cloy is very friendly and available, and takes great care in stocking this room up for everything you might need! Great location, and everything really is within walking distance, but I definitely recommend getting a car if you want to explore. I loved having the beach accessories to take with us. The bathroom was amazing and the kitchenette was easy to use. The beach across the street was nice, but we found ourselves heading father south to Kamaole beach 2 and 3. We really loved staying here, and were very sad to leave as it had started to feel like home. We will definitely be back and have told many people about this gem of a property. We knew going into this vacation planning, that we didn't want to spend a bunch of money on amenities that we didn't plan on using, so this was a perfect fit for us. We swam in the pool once, but never got to use the BBQ patio, but love that they had one. You will love this property :)"Guest: Maria P. "My wife and I just got back from 10 days staying at this marvelous location. Everything was EXACTLY as described, -perfectly appointed kitchen and super-convenient to the Makena beaches we love. (Even a beach umbrella!) The only downside was the lack of A/C. During our stay the trade winds (normally quite reliable this time of year) failed. The Kona conditions (as Hurricane Ana approached) made for rather stifling nights the first week. However, the extra small fan in the bedroom saved the day (or more appropriately, "saved the nights") and we got through it just fine. We will ABSOLUTELY be back!"Guest: JLH Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 26, 2014View listing
"THANK YOU to owners Kathy & Vic for sharing their amazing 'home away from home'. We wanted for nothing, as the unit is so well equipped, stocked & organized. Yes, what we experienced surpassed the VRBO pics & description. Additionally, Ppty Mgrs Todd & Cheryl were professional, warm & helpful, they do a fabulous job maintaining the ppty & amenities. Owner Kathy was prompt, helpful and responsive to all communications. We would highly recommend the property for being quiet & convenient. What we enjoyed: @ Kamaole Beaches I, II & II walks, families playing in the surf, relaxing in shade of the trees in the park by the Kam I, paddleboarding (early), FOOD: Maui Flatbread Co for great pizza & fun ambiance @ Paia, a run to Costco for loading up on month's worth of drygoods/groc, Hawaiian Moon Health Food Grocer 1 blk away, Wed/Sat Farmers Market (5 min bus ride), wonderful juice bar by beach walkway near Wailea, Longhi's Bar for lunch, within walking distance ... Fred's for fun/relaxed cocktail hour with many photoshop pics to amuse, 808 Restaurant for breakfast, TRANSPORT: Kihei Car Rental, Kihei Taxi (Mark), convenient public transit stops. FUN: whale watching @ it's prime (daily playful displays), World Whale Day Parade & Festival @ Kalama Park (with many vendor/artisan booths & music)! Had some quiet days reading by the pool and the BBQ's were immaculate. WHAT A FABULOUS VACATION!!"Guest: Janet & Tom Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 6, 2014View listing
