"My boyfriend and I stayed in this condo for a week in October and had an incredible time! The location was perfect - right across the street from a really nice public beach in Kihei (Kamaole Beach II). The condo complex/neighborhood was quiet, safe and felt as though there were many local residents as opposed to overly-crowded with tourists. Kihei is centrally-located on the west coast of Maui - so, in addition to BEAUTIFUL sunsets, it was convenient to take days trips to Kaanapali, Lahaina, Wailea, etc. The condo itself is among the best in the condo complex because it's a large corner unit away from the street and elevated on a hill, yet on the ground floor and shaded so it stays cool in the hot weather. It's close to good restaurants, including Kihei Caffe and Sansei, but also has a fully-stocked kitchen so you can go grocery shopping and save some money by cooking. The condo features a nice modern TV with an outlet for Chromecast or other streaming devices, but also has cable so you can keep up with your favorite shows, football games and more (there is also fast, free Wi-Fi). The condo has numerous swimming accessories (floating noodles, snorkel gear and more), plus sunscreen so you really feel like you're at home. The bathroom was remodeled and includes a spacious shower which is perfect for after a long day at the beach. The king-sized bed in the bedroom felt huge and was super comfortable. The complex has a nice pool, though we spent most of our time at the beach. All around, this place is an excellent value - you get a lot for your money! We will definitely be staying here again and have already recommended to friends and family."Guest: Travis & Lori Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 17, 2014View listing
"We had the pleasure of staying at this property during our very first trip to Hawaii in October. The condo is in the PERFECT location in terms of...EVERYTHING! Close to beach, close to restaurants, right on the ocean (you can hear the waves), close to all necessities when visiting, etc. The condo itself is awesome with basically has everything you could need while visiting. Can not say enough about the VIEWS, SUNSETS and SEA TURTLES right outside the condo. We had a fabulous visit and hope to return very soon! MAHALO / THANK YOU"Guest: Alison & Kevin Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 18, 2014View listing
"We stayed in this condo for a week from December 27- January 4. From the time of booking until our departure, we were very impressed. Laurie responded to our inquiry promptly and gave us lots of detailed information before we arrived which was helpful. Directions were provided by Maui 5 star who were also helpful and informative, and we found the place very easily in the dark. Keys were left in a lock box and check in was very easy. The location of the condo is perfect......close to several great beaches and shops, very quiet and it never gets the hot sun blasting in. The unit is very close to the elevator which was nice when bringing up luggage, groceries, etc. We did not ever need the air conditioning on as the breeze at night keeps things cool. The unit is well stocked and very clean. It was nice to have the basics like salt and pepper, sugar, soya sauce, plastic wrap, etc. The pantry has a big supply of items and they just ask that the person who uses the last of anything replaces it. We brought our own snorkeling gear but they had a few sets there as well as other beach supplies and towels. We appreciated the games that have been left for renters to use......our kids had a few good monopoly matches!! The beaches are so great that we never used the pool area, but it looked nice and always had chairs available. The barbeque areas were also spotless. After 10pm is quiet time, which was great for a family like us, but maybe not so great if you are into a party atmosphere. We would highly recommend and will stay again if we ever have the opportunity. Thank you!"Guest: Golden Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 14, 2014View listing
"This is our fourth trip to Maui with our family of ten, and by far the best one yet. We have stayed in multi unit condos, a house, and now at Dolphin's Point. The accommodations were clean, well appointed, and just steps from the awesome beach. We rented all three units, so had plenty of kitchen / refrigerator / freezer space to store the traditional Costco bounty, although the kitchen in the Plumeria unit was more than sufficient on its own. There were plenty of beach toys and chairs, and ample parking. The gated entrance made it quite private and the rates were very competitive. And among the best features was the owner. She was a dream to deal with, very conscientious about our privacy, and overall just wanted to make sure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. All of this helped make this a magical trip for us, our kids, and our grandkids. We will definitely be back!"Guest: Don Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 4, 2014View listing
