"This was our second time at Maui Vista but our first in Lily and Tuan's unit. It was true to the description. Clean, spacious, nicely decorated and pretty much all the comforts of home you need while away. Nice touches like the beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, towels etc), binoculars for watching the whales from the balcony and stocked soap and amenities on hand to get you through the first day until you have time to go shopping. The location is excellent with or without a car. You can walk to anything you would need - beaches, shopping, restaurants - and also there is a large parking lot available if you rent a car for your stay. You don't have to worry about searching for parking like in some condo's. The only thing I would point out is there is not a lot of cupboard space to store food if you do a big grocery shop, so keep that in mind if you head to Costco! Kitchen was stocked with appliances - dishwasher, full size fridge, full oven, microwave and washer/dryer. I think they had A/C as well but I go to Hawaii for the heat so we didn't use it. Large ceiling fans in all the rooms move the awesome Hawaii air through the unit as if you were outside. Wonderful. All in all an excellent choice in the Kihei area. We will most definitely return for another visit to this unit!"Guest: Carolyn M. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 2, 2014View listing
"My girlfriend and I enjoyed staying in Debbie's condo for a week. This was our first trip to the islands. We came during the off-season but you'd never know it by the weather. What a great trip! We're both 20-something and were greatly out-numbered by the older folks in the complex. As such it made for a very quiet stay in the condo. Quick walk across S Kihei Rd and you have made it to a great snorkeling and lounging beach (Charley Young Beach). Centrally located nearby some must-try eats.. Kihei Caffe for brunch, Coconuts fish tacos, and Sansei restaurant while you are here! All are a short drive away. This place has a real beach condo feel. We told ourselves we would use the kitchen and grilling area more but ended up eating out just about every meal out of laziness. The bed was complete with a several inch thick foam topper -- so good. Bedroom has a slotted window that opens up into the hallway where your neighbors come and go. We left that window open our whole stay to keep the airflow going as I like it cooler when I sleep. You can hear people pass down the hallway a few inches from the bed. But aside from the few passersby, very quiet throughout the night. This place has a personal washer/dryer combo in the kitchen area which came in handy on more than one occasion during our stay. Will be in touch with Debbie next time we are back on the island. Thanks for the great stay, Debbie!"Guest: Matt E. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 15, 2014View listing
"My new husband and I stayed in this condo from Dec 22nd 2014 to Jan 6th 2015, I have been staying at the Banyan for almost 20 years and have stayed in many different units. This one is one of my favorites, I really prefer staying on the pool side of the Banyan, H207 is in a great location here. I have to say this is one of the cleanest condos we have rented, well stocked with everything you could need, extra linens and towels, there was enough laundry soap to do a couple loads of laundry which was really nice to have, the bed was pretty comfy. We used the beach chairs everyday and the cooler a few times. The parking spot was so awesome to have, especially being in Maui at Christmas when it is a lot busier than when we usually come in the spring time, it was nice if we came home late knowing we had our own spot to park, loved it. Margaret and Derek are very nice, we had to change our dates a bit after we had already booked, also we had a bunch of questions before and a couple while we were staying and every time they had got back to us very quickly and answered all our questions. We are looking forward to being back to Maui this spring and hope to stay again!"Guest: Courtney B. Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 18, 2015View listing
"This condo was clean and well equipped. We most enjoyed the proximity to the beach, pool and to the various amenities. Though there was no AC we were fairly comfortable with the fans running. It was a perfect size for 2 adults and we would definitely return for another stay!"Guest: C&K Date of Stay: January 2015 Review Submitted: January 27, 2015View listing
