"Our arrival was seamless. We checked in at the front desk, and all of the keys, codes and parking information was provided. I had forgotten to obtain the wifi password, but went down later and had no problem receiving it. The condo was clean, tidy, and waiting for our arrival! The location can't be beat, and was the main reason for booking this condo compared to others similar to it. It is literally steps from the beach. We had no trouble carrying the provided chairs, towels and boogie boards the short distance to the water. Shops and restaurants are plentiful on the strip, some within a comfortable walking distance, others a short drive away. We did not use the pool or hot tub, but we heard from other guests that they were quite nice. The condo itself was spacious and well appointed. The kitchen had all of the necessary gadgets, although the garberator was also not functioning for our visit, but I contacted the owner and she nicely offered to have a repairman come to repair it during our stay. I didn't want to feel held back from my vacation waiting for the repairman to show up, and we didn't feel the need to use it during our stay, so we just let it go. We made due with the limited number of dishes, there was plenty of cutlery, but more coffee cups would have been convenient. Each bedroom was very spacious, each having their own fan and A/C unit, and balcony. The rooms were separated by the living/kitchen area, which provided ample privacy for the 2 couples travelling together. The shower in the bathtub also didn't drain well for us, probably due to the superfine sand from the beach. We did our best to rinse off as much of the sand from the beach as possible, it helped that there was a tap/shower head just at the entrance to Building A. Overall this was a great condo. It is exactly as the owner has advertised it. I would come back to it again the next time I visit Maui, and recommend it to anyone planning to stay in that area."Guest: Kate L. "We had a wonderful time. The condo has been renovated recently. It was clean and well stocked with everything you need including boogie boards. It is close to the beach, stores and restaurants. The owner is easy and pleasant to deal with. The pool area is somewhat dated but you are across the road from the beach so we never even went in the pool."Guest: JA Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 22, 2014View listing
"We enjoyed a wonderful Maui vacation and this condo provided a great place to relax. Kihea was a central base to get to all of island's activities or to just relax a great local beaches and snorkel spots. Condo was thoughtfully supplied for. Kitchen had great appliances and supplies. We loved all the great beach supplies (great chairs, umbrella, heavy beach towels, boogie boards and snorkel equipment). This really added to the ease and enjoyment of our trip. Space was great and perfect for our family of four. Everyone had lots of space to be together or to have some privacy. Laiai provided a perfect breakfast spot and great views. Outside space (pool, spa, BBQs) were nicely cared for as well. Owners were responsive and provided lots of useful info. Thank you On King and Kristine for sharing your condo with us. We hope to return!"Guest: Paul Spiro Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 28, 2014View listing
"We are a family of four and needed a vacation--this condo was everything that it advertised and MORE! Believe the pictures on this site--it is that beautiful! This was our first visit to Hawaii and we could not have been more please with the condo. The owners have maintained a warm and welcoming place and had every comfort we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the pulled out couch was not too bad. Fred's Mexican restaurant directly across the street is yummy! Great fish tacos! Also across the street is Café O Lei had great food--make reservations or you'll be waiting a long time. Auntie Snorkel (yes, across the street) was wonderful to rent paddleboards (we are hooked) a must try! We also rented an underwater camera and we booked our helicopter ride through them. Paul was fantastic. If you are looking for a condo and want to have long walks on the beach and a really relaxing time--rent this condo. We are already looking at same time next year--but without the kids!"Guest: Schuster Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 21, 2014View listing
