"From the very first time I spoke with David on the telephone prior to travelling both my wife and I knew our host was going to go that extra "mile" to make our holiday in Maui that little bit more special. The little extra "touches" that David adds sets the scene of your holiday within minutes on entering the condo and meeting David himself! The condo is tastefully decorated, well equipped (well above the average Holiday condo), close to the beach, shopping, great restaurants and central for touring and enjoying the island. From the lanai we had amazing sunsets while enjoying a quiet "ale" or two! Like the "September 2014 guests" we got to share "Knox" but we also got to say goodbye! So if you are still intrigued then you must ask David as well as ask him to share a photo or two of "Knox". Thank you David - we had an amazing stay and will, and have recommended your condo and Maui for an extremely relaxing holiday. We are just very sad that we live so far away here in Dongara, Western Australia or else we would be visiting for our summer holiday annually!"Guest: Geoff F. "We just loved this condo! It's clean, modern, nice and everything you could wish for. The kitchen is amazing with a big fridge and even a microwave. I loved the washer and the dryer in the bathroom, you get detergent at check-in, so no need to buy expensive stuff at the supermarket. There is a flat screen with DVD player and lots of DVDs provided and you can watch from the bed or the couch. But the best part of this condo is the lanai! A DREAM! I loved sitting out there and looking at the mountain or the water and palms. It's absolutely quiet on the 6th floor with an unobstructed view, so no one will disturb you or look into the condo. There is pool for a quick refreshment or the Kamaole Beach Park 2 just across the street. We always took the beach chairs and the sun umbrella over there to have a swim and get some tan. The condo is a few minutes away from the city center, but with a car (and I would definitely recommend it for Maui) it's absolutely close to everything! A restaurant recommendation: "Da Kitchen" is just a few steps away and offers real hawaiian cuisine. Try the Korean Chicken!! Suzi is absolutely sweet and easy to talk to! We will definitely stay here again! :))"Guest: Karen Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 24, 2014View listing
"Excellent place to stay, and awesome people to deal with. Answered all my questions, were very helpful, and went above and beyond by letting us check out late so we didn't have to keep our luggage in the car all day before our flight! The location was great. Walking distance to Lava Java for coffee, Local Boys Shave ice (try it with sweet cream on top, you won't be disappointed :p ), and Horhitos food truck (for the best shrimp tacos!). Great view from the lanai, and across the street is a perfect little beach to sit and watch the sunset. Didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and it was almost always empty. The kitchen is well stocked, and the coolers and ice packs are hugely appreciated to take to the beach every day. Towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. are all provided, and are in great shape. Hard to find fault with it, I'd definitely stay there again!!"Guest: Kayte & Jez Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 4, 2014View listing
"This was our first visit to Maui but won't our last. We chose Kihei bit chance and we were very happy to be there it's happening place but not too big, with easy access to a lot of fun stuff. Pam and Glen's condo was perfect for us. They also privide you with the beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, raquets all you need to behave like children! Pam made all of it easy. She is very quick to reply and everything was simple. No bad suprises. I would definitely rent this unit again, it was clean and practical. We didn't use the pool because we love the ocean and it's right there. There are plenty of restaurant to walk to if you don't have a car or don't want to use it. It is sound proof because we didn't hear anything from the neighbors, it was great. The complex is well kept and people are friendly."Guest: Guylaine and Michel Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 30, 2014View listing
