  • Wonderful

"We had a great experience with Jamie and Linda and their condo in Kihei. The location is great - a close walk to a beautiful beach, convenience stores, and cafes. But quiet at night with no traffic noise. The condo is clean and well-stocked with kitchenware, beach toys, and toiletries. Jamie was very responsive and made us feel welcome. We hope to stay there again soon!"

  • Best place for a winter get away

"I have just finished a little over 3 week stay in Bryan and Suzi’s studio condo and it was pretty great! Their recent renovations have improved the condo immensely. The locals will tell you that this has not been a great winter weather wise for them but for those of us on vacation it was not bad. I managed to miss the rain except for the last day but did have several days of more wind than I am used to. I know this is unusual. The condo is very well equipped and certainly comfortable and cozy. The bathroom and shower are spacious and clean. The new kitchen is really nice although I would prefer a double sink when there is no dishwasher. Suzi explained that they opted for more counter space which is certainly nice as well. At first I thought the dishes etc were a little sparse but in actual fact there was everything I needed even when I entertained for dinner a couple of times. My guests love to come over and enjoy the sunset from the lanai – perfect view. And whales to boot! This year the resort was actually enforcing the ‘No Glass in the Pool area and BBQ area’ and fortunately this condo had adequate plastic glasses, plates and pans to take there. A couple of tinfoil plates to take smaller items to the BBQ are easily purchased if needed. Nice touches like hand soap, and dish soap as well as a starter of TP and paper towel are provided. Special laundry detergent is also supplied by the resort for free at the office. And a new portable drying rack means those of us who like a 'green option' can hang up some items to dry! Nice. Bryan and Suzi are very accommodating and easy to work with. They respond almost immediately to either email or phone inquiries and seem to go the extra mile for their guests. I have stopped spreading the word around that Kihei Akahi is really the best complex in the best location in all of Kihei. So convenient to walked directly across the street to a wonderful beach that never seems to be tooooo crowded. Great for days when it is just too hot to bother driving to another beach (this is nice to do some days as well). Local amenities are more than adequate nearby."

  • Perfect location and vacation!

"We had a phenomenal time at your beautiful condo. The amenities were everything we needed to have a successful stay. Our kids loved the beach that was a stones throw away. We ate all our meals on the lanai while enjoying sunsets, a lauau and whale watching. Thank you for helping to create so many wonderful "firsts" for us on our "first" family vacation. We will remember it fondly for years to come!"
