"From the very first time I spoke with David on the telephone prior to travelling both my wife and I knew our host was going to go that extra "mile" to make our holiday in Maui that little bit more special. The little extra "touches" that David adds sets the scene of your holiday within minutes on entering the condo and meeting David himself! The condo is tastefully decorated, well equipped (well above the average Holiday condo), close to the beach, shopping, great restaurants and central for touring and enjoying the island. From the lanai we had amazing sunsets while enjoying a quiet "ale" or two! Like the "September 2014 guests" we got to share "Knox" but we also got to say goodbye! So if you are still intrigued then you must ask David as well as ask him to share a photo or two of "Knox". Thank you David - we had an amazing stay and will, and have recommended your condo and Maui for an extremely relaxing holiday. We are just very sad that we live so far away here in Dongara, Western Australia or else we would be visiting for our summer holiday annually!"Guest: Geoff F. "My husband and I just spent 2 weeks in this condo. We've stayed at the Banyan every year for the past 10 years and this is now our favourite unit. It is clean, quiet and private and conveniently located to the lower pool and a beautiful beach. The kitchen has been renovated with lovely counters and cabinets and is well stocked with good quality kitchen wares. The appliances were new and modern and the king size bed was super comfy. There were plenty of thick fluffy towels (beach towels too) and the furniture was new and very nice. Truly a home away from home that had everything we needed and more. The owners were very nice and easy to work with as well. We will definitely try to book this unit again for our next visit."Guest: Ann W. "My husband and I stayed in this condo for 8 days in June. We also got married during this time, at Charley Young Beach, across the road. The condo is the second building from the road so there is very little noise from the road. The condo is well decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The AC unit is located off the balcony, which is at the opposite end of the bedroom. We kept the bedroom door open (it was just the two of us) to ensure that the cold air would reach the bedroom. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and a stand-up fan that came in handy. Internet was fast and reliable. There is a concierge for the resort who could make various arrangements from surf lessons to massage appointments. We did not make use of the concierge service though. We did not use the pool or tennis courts but they looked clean and well maintained. We preferred the ocean. We used the BBQ on a couple of nights. The kitchen was well equipped. The dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer were very convenient. Booking of the condo went smoothly. We liked that there was no cleaning or resort fee, which many other resorts charge. Beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards, and umbrella made visits to the beach very comfortable. Overall, we would recommend this unit to friends and family. We particularly liked that the unit was tiled, with no carpet anywhere."Guest: Duyen L. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: August 24, 2014View listing
"We have come to Maui 7 times in the last 3 years (sometimes with our children, sometimes just us) and this is where we stay! Our second to last stay was 4 months in the cottage - perfection! The cottage and the ohana are comfortable and have everything you need including beach chairs, umbrella, toys, etc, just bring your clothes. Every evening we walk to the beach to watch the beautiful Maui sunsets. In the mornings we often will walk to breakfast in Kihei. The location is perfect, easy walk to most things, especially the beach. The neighborhood is friendly and clean. The owner, Lisa, is always so easy to work with and so accommodating, we love her! We will continue to come to stay here as there is nothing more we could need in accomodations when we come to Maui! Aloha"Guest: Desiree Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 8, 2014View listing
