Great time in Kihei, Condo was wonderful, perfect location
"We had a great time staying here. The beach was directly across the street, which we loved and it was close to many shops and restaurants. We loved catching the sunset every night... just a 2 minute walk to the beach from the condo. This was the first time staying in Kihei and we really loved the laid back feel (Not as commercialized as Lahaina/Kaanapali side). Location was great and easy to get to different places on the island. The condo had everything we could possibly need. Beach chairs were great and we even used the beach sand toys and boogie boards. Plenty of coolers were available for our daily outings, lots of beach towels and even shopping bags / beach bags as HI has the no plastic shopping bags rule. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook many meals, plus used the BBQ close by. The kitchen even had some spices available, so we didn't need to buy those! The pool was great for the few windy days we had. Jeremy was great to work with and the on site management was also great. We had the disposal go out one day and it was taken care of very quickly. We had a late flight out and Jeremy was very accommodating to allow for the late check out. Mahalo Jeremy!"

"It's wonderful to stay in a place where everything is so handy. Landing in Maui, the property owner tipped us off to the local Costco; a few key purchases later (steak, fish, salad) we were on our way to Kihei Akahi. It's an easy drive and not difficult to find. Literally steps from a gorgeous beach, there are many restaurants within walking distance as well. Location means a lot to us but we would never return to a condo if it wasn't absolutely clean. This unit is pristine and I'm fussy. High quality sheets on a very comfy bed helped me sleep better than I do at home. I enjoy getting up early and reading on the balcony while my husband sleeps later. The building is quiet and peaceful, the gardens are well kept and the BBQ was a great place to meet the neighbours and find out what they had taken in during the day. Appointed with all the usual things you might need, this unit goes above and beyond with a beach cart that holds your chairs, an umbrella, a cooler and even your snorkeling gear. I can't think of a single thing that was missing. We went for an introductory scuba dive and were hooked! Can't wait to go back!"

"Our family of six including teens, young adults, and a grandparent, rented the main house with the unit over the garage. The combination provided the ability for us all to find some solace while also gathering for meals and planning, or for watching a movie. The central location is ideal for striking out for adventures all around the island. Several beaches are within walking or biking range, with other beaches, restaurants, and places of interest just minutes away with a car. The owner, Jonathan, also provided us with great service and advice. A great alternative to the resorts on Maui!"
