"We had a Family group of 10 staying in three different units in the Maui Banyan. All three were two bedroom units but this unit (F206) was superior to the other two. It had the most up to date appliances, furnishings, tile (not carpet), comfortable beds and was well maintained. Being on the second floor was also an advantage as there were no critters. The two first floor units both had the potential with this but for us on the second floor it was not a concern. We were concerned about there being noise because of the proximity to the main Kihei road and the entrance to the Maui Banyan. However this was not an issue and with the doors closed and outside sounds are largely muted. The F complex is close to the beach. As was noted by someone previously….the owner was terrific in all our dealings - from quick responses to emails, booking our condo, phone call returns and answering questions. We would highly recommend this condo."Guest: Very Satisfied visitor Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 1, 2014View listing
"We are a family of four and needed a vacation--this condo was everything that it advertised and MORE! Believe the pictures on this site--it is that beautiful! This was our first visit to Hawaii and we could not have been more please with the condo. The owners have maintained a warm and welcoming place and had every comfort we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the pulled out couch was not too bad. Fred's Mexican restaurant directly across the street is yummy! Great fish tacos! Also across the street is Café O Lei had great food--make reservations or you'll be waiting a long time. Auntie Snorkel (yes, across the street) was wonderful to rent paddleboards (we are hooked) a must try! We also rented an underwater camera and we booked our helicopter ride through them. Paul was fantastic. If you are looking for a condo and want to have long walks on the beach and a really relaxing time--rent this condo. We are already looking at same time next year--but without the kids!"Guest: Schuster Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 21, 2014View listing
"We stayed here over Christmas. I can't say enough good things about Bill and Janet, they replied to all of our emails and even called us a few times to make this experience a positive one. Answered all of our questions and gave us tips for our trip. Also sent us some good pictures of the area. The condo was all we asked for...and more. Awesome location. We felt safe and secure. We were close to everything we wanted and needed. It was clean and comfortable and offered many things to make our trip enjoyable, beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers etc etc. we would definitely stay here again if they will have us. The loft bedroom worked great for our two boys. The bedroom in the back was quiet and comfortable as well. Views from the Lanai were great. It was everything we expected and much more. Thanks Bill and Janet!"Guest: Dennis S. Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 15, 2015View listing
"I have seen many units at Kihea Akahi, and this one is the best, with a ergonomic and thoughtfully laid out kitchen, gorgeous view from the lanai, comfortable beds and furniture and plenty of room for your stuff. The owners provide beach paraphernalia so all kinds, including snorkeling gear, so you will not want for anything."Guest: Richard S.
