  • Excellent Condo - Great Location - Great Value

"I spent two weeks at this condo in April 2014 with my family, six in total. We found the condo well equipped, clean and comfortable. The photos listed are an accurate portrayal of the unit. The complex is well maintained, the pool, BBQ's, chairs and walks are cleaned daily. The grounds are immaculate. We met a number of neighbors and all we friendly and easy to get along with. The location is a five minute walk to Kamaole 1 beach and Cove Park is right across the street. It's a five minute walk to Starbucks and is walking distance to many other restaurants and retail outlets, including Snorkel Bob's. The only negative I can think of, and this is petty, is that the lanai was cramped with more than three sitting around the table there. There were five adults and one ten year old staying at the unit for two weeks and all found it very comfortable, and spacious. When we come back to Maui this is where we will stay again. I would recommend this unit to friends or family."

  • Centrally located

"First time at this condo and we were quite pleased with the location. It was easy to walk to great restaurants and the natural food store. The condo was super quiet making it easy to get a good nights sleep. It was clean and included great beach items like chairs and boogie boards. It also included a small washer and dryer, which was quite handy. I also was happy it had a rice cooker! That was a plus. We would definitely stay here again and likely will. And easy free parking!"

  • Overall Happy...

"Great location, very close to some of the better places to eat in kihei and centrally located between most of the rest of the island. Nice beaches right across the road, close to great snorkeling spots. The building was nice, clean kept up pool area. Nice garden areas. Overall a great value for what you pay. Our only complaints were that there were tiny, fruit fly sized, bugs on all of the counter tops and if you left any food unsealed, they got in it. Also the A/C stopped blowing cold air on the last few nights. I understand things happen and would still probably go back to this condo. Other than the bugs, it was a clean, comfortable place to rest at night."

  • Family with Kids (Vancouver BC)

"We have never used VRBO before and we were extremely pleased with this property. Jay and Judy were great to deal with. The property is exactly as described, an immaculate updated 2 bedroom condo with ample room for the 4 people. The interior was clean, with new appliances, an extremely well stocked pantry and an abundance of beach necessities. The property has a beautiful view of Kamaole II beach and Molokini can be seen clearly off in the distance. We spent many evenings socializing on the Lanai watching the sunset and looking out at the waves. The 2 pools and barbecues are kept very clean. Kihei Akahi is situated directly across from Kameole II and a short walk to Kameole III which are very kid friendly beaches with calm waves. No air conditioning, but no need as all the windows open up which allow the trade winds to blow through the condo cooling it off nicely.I would not hesitate at all in recommending this property to my friends and family."
