"This is our fifth stay at Bill's Condo in Kihei, our 10th visit to Maui. The condo provides everything we need for our 15 night vacations. It has a great view, great location, clean unit, with all the essentials. We have bought beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and various stuff over the years to add to the collection. Bill has always been very responsive to any questions we have, and a great guy to deal with. It is a short drive to the "rich folks" beaches in Wailea, plenty of great places to eat in Kihei, and everything we could ask for, which is why we keep coming back every year. Great beach across the road, cinnamon rolls and restaurants within walking distance. What more could anyone want??"Guest: James G. "Ross & Mary: We wanted to let you know we had a great time at your Condo in Kihei celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary and will definitely try to book it when we go back in a couple of years. The view from the Lanai is fantastic and we spent a lot of the time that we were in the Condo there looking out over the grounds and ocean. It was great waking up in the morning to the sounds of the birds and other than that it was quiet in the unit. The Condo is very well equipped and also has everything we required for our time at the beach and pool. The fact that the complex is so close to the beaches, restaurants and shops was great as we used our rental car very little. Again thanks for everything and we'll talk again in two years."Guest: Bruce H. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 6, 2014View listing

"This was our first trip to Hawaii and I have a hard time believing we'll ever go to another island or stay at another place! The condo is clean and beautiful and really embraces the relaxing and unhurried feel of the island life itself. The best part of it all was the most wonderful (and incredibly thorough) hand made binder on the coffee table compiling all sorts of insider tips about the island sights, trips, restaurants, etc. from Jerry and Meredith. They even appear to be constantly updating it every time they're back and with finds their renters come across on their vacations as well. Jerry and Meredith are incredibly hospitable and really seem to take a true interest in ensuring all their guests enjoy every aspect of their trip in all the tiny details and accesses they allow their renters. My favorite part of the trip was something we found in the binder. While we also did the Road to Hana, Jerry and Meredith's binder gave us tips to do a drive of a "Tour of the West Side" around the north crater, and also recommended driving through the state park on the south side of the island to get back to Kihei instead of turning back and going home from the Hana the same way when we did the Road to Hana. Those two far less travelled paths were my favorite parts of the trip. We loved realizing that the location was still very central to everything on the island and that we were able to easily head every direction for our sightseeing, but that it was removed from the more commercial areas and the cruise line ports. This was just our style! We'll be back! :-)"Guest: Palrusty Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 11, 2014View listing
