"This was a perfect location. So much to see and do very close to the condo. I loved drinking coffee on the patio each morning enjoying the beautiful view. The condo itself was very clean and comfy. Perfect for a get-a-way. It had everything you need and more. I highly recommend it! If I come back to Kihei, I definitely want to rent it again."Guest: Susan H. "Very nice place in a nice building. While we did not take advantage, there is much to do at the condo, including tennis and swimming (we were too busy running around the island!) Concierge arranged our Road to Hana tour, which we enjoyed. Also did the bike ride off Haleakala after sunrise. Both tours picked us up right in front of the building. Nice shops and restaurants nearby, and the beach right across the road is excellent. Having the key in hand before we arrived was comforting, especially since we checked in late. Main bed in bedroom was very comfy, sofa bed was a sofa bed- but my boys said it was OK. Being able to shop and cook some helped the budget, and laundry facilities inside the unit are a big plus."Guest: Jeff S. Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: December 31, 2013View listing
"My wife and I spent two weeks in Maui recently for our honeymoon and stayed in this Kihei Kai Nani unit for a week (stayed in Kaanapali the first week). This was the perfect spot for all our adventures on this side of the island. We visited almost every beach from Makena up to Sugar Beach and this unit was ideally located for all of them (no more than about a 10 minute drive). It was also PERFECT that Kamaole Beach Park II was RIGHT across the street. We actually thought that the sunsets from KamII were the best we saw on the island. The restaurants nearby are awesome as well. 808 Bistro had an awesome breakfast, 808 Deli had GREAT sandwiches and Fred's Mexican was off the charts (go on Taco Tuesday!) We also tried Sarento's on the Beach, but liked the more casual fare better. As for the unit, the laundry is certainly a plus. There is TONS of space in this unit and everything is there for your needs. We cooked many meals in the unit, especially breakfasts and lunches and were never without what we needed. In an effort to write a truthful review...We only had two (rather minor) complaints during our stay. One, the provided beach chairs need updated, they were small, uncomfortable and a little rusty for my big butt. They would be fine for small kids, but to sit all day as an adult, i'd rather have something that is reclined a little bit and is just a bit bigger. Secondly, and this might have just been our week so take this with a grain of salt, but the plaza next door had lots of landscaping seemingly only during 6AM-7AM several times during the week. Lots of leaf blowers and mowers. After that, everything was perfectly peaceful quiet. Despite those two minor issues, I can't recommend this unit enough. If you are staying in South Kihei, this is THE best deal you will find, tons of space and just the perfect location for all the activities. (from this unit some activities we did; all close by- Pride of Maui Snuba tour, Halekala Sunrise (although it was cloudy), Road to Hana, Maui Winery Tour) This was the PERFECT honeymoon spot!"Guest: Michael R.
