"This was our Paradise on Earth location for many previous summer vacations, (we think 1975 was the first time we stayed at the Nani ). The Nani Kai was were we celebrated many Anniversaries & Birthdays with world-wide friends! After a number of years of absence due to circumstances we decided to return to celebrate our "45th". How wonderful to reconnect with Barbara and her precious Wally. She is very special & we were thrilled to hug her!
After a long day of travel, a quick late night stop at Safeway & learning that you can't buy liquor after 11 PM...we opened the door to our Paradise home & there waiting an Anniversary Gift & a welcome "Cheers".
Our three weeks was relaxing, Barbara was just a phone call away if we needed ANYTHING! What could we possibly need! The Condo was even better equipped then we remembered, a true home away from home.
We chose to dine in most of the time, we had our own "million dollar" view, we'd Bar B Q and then sit on the Lanai looking out to sea thinking how lucky we were to be here!
On Barbara's recommendation we celebrated at the 5 Palms Restaurant. Perfect!
Sunday morning worships were at Keawala'i Congregational Church at Makena. So many fond memories from years gone by.
We played golf at Pukalaani and Maui Nui.
A once in a lifetime opportunity, at the point near Paie & Mamma's: 25+ turtles resting on the beach along with a sunning Monk Seal. As you wandered the beach in front of the condo you could watch the Rays & other ocean creatures frolicking in the waves.
Barbara, dear friend, a HUGE Mahalo for making this vacation & Anniversay so memorable! Will we celebrate "50" at the Nani...sure do hope so!!!!
Lots of Love.

"Stayed for a week, very cozy and comfortable place. Shirley is very helpful and accommodating also. There is a beach right across the street, and the location is close to everything. Would definitely stay again!"

"My husband and I recently stayed in this lovely condo along with another couple and it was perfect for the four of us! The condo is in a great location for several things on the island. The outdoor bbq's are close and very convenient. The beach and lawn are beautiful! There is an ABC store located across the street, that proved to be very convenient. The bakery and farmer's market across the street as well as the shaved ice are a must try (there was literally a line for the shaved ice from open to close). Definitely visit the jewelry stand next to the farmer's market, Joanne, hand makes much of the jewelry and it is absolutely beautiful! The only cons: I do have to admit that while the unit was clean enough, it didn't feel extra clean and even mentioned that I would hire a different cleaning crew if it were my own place. Also, if you plan on sleeping past 530 or 6 am and are sleeping in the ocean front bedroom, shut the window. This unit in particular is right next door to maui canoe club and they begin their practice very early and have some rather loud chants! That being said, it didn't bother us as we were usually up and it was kinda fun to watch while sipping coffee on the lanai. Great stay, would definitely stay again!"

"Wife and I spent a total of 4 nights here and had a great experience. The unit was clean, comfortable and up-to-date. Really appreciated the available beach supplies (umbrella, chairs, snorkeling) and there were ample towels. Wi-fi worked great and we really enjoyed having a lanai (porch) to eat our meals. Used the on-site grills to make a steak dinner one night and it couldn't have been easier. Location is in a relatively quiet part of Kihei and easy enough to hop in the car and go eat at all the various restaurants down the street. It was also nice that it's at the northern part of Kihei so heading to Kahului or Lahiana felt that much closer. Keyless entry was very convenient and Viktoria was great in making sure check in/out went smoothly. And she even emailed us the day we got there with a long list of various recommendations. Thanks for helping make our trip to Maui a comfortable and pleasant one!"
