"We found the location to be ideal and the price was right. We liked being able to walk across the road to the beach and were a little nostalgic as it was the same beach where our son and family had been previously. They were the ones who recommended this owner. It was easy to drive to points of interest and groceries. The unit was of ample room and had everything we could have needed. We had purchased beach chairs for our week before coming here, but chairs and coolers were all here. Would love to teturn.
Our one negative was that the sheets were torn and needed replacing."

"This is a great location if you are interested in exploring everything that Maui has to offer. Because of this spots central location you can get to all parts of the island with a manageable drive. Lahaina is about 25 minutes north-west, big beach is about 20 minutes south, and the road to Hana starts about 15 north east.
The property owner was super helpful and very nice. There was some internet/cable TV issues during our stay. He did everything he could to try and resolve the problem. Because the issue didn't get resolved while we were there he let us check out as late as we wanted on our last day so it was almost like we got another 1/2 day in paradise!
There was one issue with the property that has been addressed by other reviews. For some it might not be a problem but for us it was a nuisance. The west wall of the condo is floor to ceiling windows and is covered by some thin bamboo blinds. The blinds are fairly thin, and are a slightly see through. That fact that others could see into the condo a bit at night didn't bother my wife and I (were both young and have no children). The issue for us is that these blinds let in a TON of light in the morning. As soon as the sun rises the condo floods with light. If you like waking up at sunrise you might enjoy this. But for anyone who is not a morning person or might have a hangover this is not ideal. There is a japanese style fold out paper wall. It is also very see through. We ended up hanging towels over this and standing it right next to the bed to try and block the light so we could sleep in. I think if the property owner would just invest in some thick curtains this issue would be solved.
Other than being woken up sunrise every morning this was a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to my friends, and if you are a morning person this this condo is perfect for budget travelers!"

"Condo was well equipped with everything we needed, from cookware and linens to beach accessories. It was comfortable and functional. Pool and hot tub area were well maintained as well. There is laundry on site that we took advantage of before returning home. We did have a small issue during our stay, but the owner came over right away to address the situation (at 9:00pm) and was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend."

"This is my 2nd visit to Maui in the last 2 years. I have stayed at Kihei Bay Surf both times. I liked this unit better for it was on the far side, being closer to the pool & the laundry. The owner was super
To work with, for I changed my dates to arrive and again my departure date and she was very efficient
In returning my emails for my changes. The unit was very nice and comfortable. My month here
