"Rented this condo for my elderly mom, sister and brother-in law. It was a corner condo that had an amazing view from the lanai, bedroom and side window. Could not have been more pleased with the accommodations for my family. Across the street was a farmers market with fresh fruit from the island."

"My wife and I stayed at this condo for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pictures are accurate/up to date as of this review. This condo is in a great location. It is just north of the busy part of Kihei, but has easy access to the main routes in Maui. Like the other reviewers stated, the view is spectacular, and while more than three feet from the water, I'm pretty sure I could have thrown a rock into the water from the balcony had it not been against condo rules. The sound of the surf at night in the bedroom was great, if not a bit loud with the window open. You could easily hear it even with the windows closed. In the interest of full disclosure, and if it matters, the master bedroom mattress either started its life on the soft side, or has been in service a while. Parking is similar to ALL other locations on Maui - parking spaces tend to be quite narrow. So you may want to think twice before renting that big car or SUV. Breakfast every morning on the lanai was a real treat.
I would not hesitate to recommend this unit, with one very minor caveat. My previous experience with vrbo rentals has been there is typically leftovers/goodies or sometimes a welcome basket that can get you by until the next day. We arrived on a late flight, and found the only food items in the kitchen were starter coffee/tea and some very basic spices in the cabinet. The brand new (and massive) refrigerator was absolutely empty. It turned out to be a very minor quibble since there was *coffee* and there was also a farmers market across the street with fruit and yummy breads. We had a great time at the condo."

"My husband and I recently stayed in this lovely condo along with another couple and it was perfect for the four of us! The condo is in a great location for several things on the island. The outdoor bbq's are close and very convenient. The beach and lawn are beautiful! There is an ABC store located across the street, that proved to be very convenient. The bakery and farmer's market across the street as well as the shaved ice are a must try (there was literally a line for the shaved ice from open to close). Definitely visit the jewelry stand next to the farmer's market, Joanne, hand makes much of the jewelry and it is absolutely beautiful! The only cons: I do have to admit that while the unit was clean enough, it didn't feel extra clean and even mentioned that I would hire a different cleaning crew if it were my own place. Also, if you plan on sleeping past 530 or 6 am and are sleeping in the ocean front bedroom, shut the window. This unit in particular is right next door to maui canoe club and they begin their practice very early and have some rather loud chants! That being said, it didn't bother us as we were usually up and it was kinda fun to watch while sipping coffee on the lanai. Great stay, would definitely stay again!"

"I was born and raised in Makawao, up country area of Maui, and passed this condo thousands of times growing up. It wasn't until 7 years ago that I started staying here. It has since become our annual family vacation spot. We stay at this condo ever year. I have two young kids who were raised on the beautiful front lawn. They play on the beautiful empty beach, swim in the pool, and run around the plush grass, while I sit with my wife and relax with a cold beer.
I refer to this condo as "simple paradise". Unlike a resort, everything here is simple. Parking, coming and going, finding a lounge chair, taking a dip or a quiet walk. It's all so easy and simple. But my favorite part is that it is literally 38 steps from a cold beer in the refrigerator to having your toes in the Pacific Ocean. It doesn't get any better than that.
If you are looking for something simple, quiet, relaxing, with a perfect central location on the island, this is the spot of you. I highly recommend this condo and this ground floor unit. Just don't book it in mid July, because that's when we go:)"
