  • A stay in paradise doesn't get any better than this!

"Unit was great from the get go. It is very well maintained & is so close to the shore. We lacked for nothing in the way of kitchen utensils, dinnerware or pots & pans. New pans, great lids. There is a fancy rice cooker but we didn't try it. In condo washer/dryer is a great feature. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a tub/shower unit & wasn't cramped. There were plenty of towels as well as beach towels & beach chairs, Tommy Bahamas, the real good ones on site. The appliances were great. The owner has thought of everything. The on sight BBQs are well maintained and there is a very nice pool in the compound. The living and dining room area was very functional. This is a great condo for a couple. We ate on the lanai most nights, & breakfasts enjoying the view, watching a spectacular array of whale beaches, jaw drops, tail slaps & blow whole spouting, right in front of us. There are binoculars in the condo. Many multiple breaches. Pretty spectacular. Ancient fish pond area is a nice area for those with children, or those that don't want to be pounded by the surf. That option is a few steps to the south & most days fairly calm. Owner was great to deal with. No problems what so ever. Close to the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale Sanctuary Visitor Center. Head to Lahaina for Warren & Annabelle's Magic Show. Great evening! Highly recommend. Book before your trip. Saturday am head to Kahului, Maui Swap Meat at college. Produce, artisans & souvenirs. 100 plus booths. Want flowers go early. Best pineapples - Costco. In Kihei at Uliani, shaved Ice. Get the ice cream in the bottom. What a treat! Go to outdoor market. Open 9-4 daily. Catch a Whale Watch boat ride. Head to Whaler's Village Mall in Kaanapali. Check out some stores. Stores (with purchase) gave us a validation sticker for 3 hours parking. Wander around shops & go to the Whaler's Museum. Nice walking handheld phone narration display. 11:00 am is time for Whale Talk which was a PowerPoint, video & whale volunteer discussion. Lasted an hour, very informative. Visit Up Country. Drive to Pa'Ia & Macawao. Head further Up Country, very scenic views of Maalaa Bay & Kahului shore area. Tour Ocean Organic Vodka distillery, made from sugar cane. Taste vodka & rum. So much to do so close to this condo. We enjoyed our stay here at on Maui's South Shore! Highly recommend this condo, so much in fact have already rebooked for next year."

  • Great Choice!

"This condo was perfect for our family. All the cooking supplies you will need + spices, oils & condiments (things u don't miss until u don't have them at a vacation rental). All the beach supplies you will need to enjoy a day or two at the beach. Pictures and view are as described absolutely spectacular view. Beautiful place and quiet location, this condo is not as busy as other areas we saw nor is the beach crowded. I would Totally stay here again!!! Thanks Vicki"

  • Perfect for a family!

"Upon arriving at Menehune Shores, we were initially impressed with the grounds around the Condominiums. They were impeccable! The condo was clean and perfectly furnished. We were especially surprised with the gift basket that the owners left for us. That immediately made us feel welcome. The ocean view from the unit was amazing! The grocery stores and other shopping and restaurants are close by. We enjoyed several nice long morning walks on the beach...leaving right from the condo. We did grill several times up on the roof. A great place to socialize or hang out and wind down after a busy day on the beach! We hope to come back soon!!!"

  • Quiet and comfortable with an amazing view

"As this was our first time to Maui, we wanted the trip to be memorable. We found the condo easily and there was plenty of parking available. From the moment we arrived we noticed how well maintained the grounds and the building amenities were kept. Luggage carts were available to get our bags or groceries to the unit. Our condo was clean and very well appointed and stocked with everything we needed. Access to the unit was easy and the views of the ocean immediately took our breath away. We were so glad to have found a condo to call home for our stay in Kihei. The building was quiet and we rested, relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenery. All the conveniences of home were at our fingertips and the beach or pool were mere steps away. Access to the rooftop patio was easy where we met other couples and enjoyed watching the sunsets. We greeted every morning with a long walk on the beach. Watching the turtles right off the shore was exciting. We could not have asked for anything more. I know we'll be back and I would highly recommend this condo for couple looking for a quiet getaway. While we travelled through town we noticed that we were well removed from the busy bustling part of town that seemed crowded every evening and yet we were only a short drive or a moderate walk to any store or shop we'd need. We really enjoyed the location and would recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid busy crowds. A welcome home away from home."
