"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sande & Bob's condo on the beach. The location was ideal - not too far from Lahaina and close to all amenities of South Kihei. The grounds were immaculate and well groomed. The unit is steps to the pool and BBQs and has a nice view of ocean. The unit itself was very well equipped and we appreciated the use of the beach toys, beach towels, boogie boards, chairs and coolers. The condo is well appointed and comfortable and having a washer/drier allowed us to pack light. Bob was very helpful in recommending and booking activities for us including a fishing charter & the Luau which were both enjoyed by all in our party. We would definitely stay here again."

We Thought We'd Found the Perfect Condo Right Next to the Beach...and We Had!
"Oregon First-Timers to Hawaii
This unit was perfect for us! What attracted us on the website was the closeness to the water and the wonderful palm-tree-view of the ocean. It turned out to be even better than what the website could convey. The condo is tastefully decorated--no tired, cheap nick-knacks. The kitchen and bathroom are not huge, but certainly adequate. We were quite impressed with the resort's meticulously kept grounds (highly manicured lawns) and well-kept activity areas (the BBQs were spotless and the outdoor shuffleboard was a hoot even when the wind picked up in the afternoon). Most of all we enjoyed stepping out onto the lanai, sometimes in the middle of the night to see the stars amongst the motionless palm trees. We never tired of the view, day or night. We were blessed to have had this rental for our first Hawaiian vacation. Our second week, on a different island, was a completely different experience, with many things not in working order or not as advertised). Our only concern would be not having any A/C in 80 plus weather rather than in the 70s as we experienced."

"Thank you for an enjoyable stay on Maui! The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and well managed. The owner was always available by phone, text, or email to answer questions, and a minor maintenance issue was quickly addressed by local staff. The views of the pool and ocean from the living room, master bedroom, and balcony are gorgeous. For those on a working vacation there is secure WiFi in the unit, which reaches the pool deck if needed while watching the kids swim. There is a nice eating area with gas grills and spectacular views on top of the building. There are also gas grills near the pool. There is a supermarket nearby for occasional items, but the best place to shop for supplies is Costco, which is just outside of the airport. Costco also sells discount cards for local attractions, such as luaus, zip-lines, and snorkeling charters, which can be pricey otherwise (Google Costco discount cards Maui). Activities that we recommend: The Kaanapali Beach Luau is the one that has the fire dancers. The Pacific Whale Foundation is a non-profit organization that has larger boats suitable to all ages for a day of cruising and snorkeling the Molokini volcano, dolphin sightings, and green sea turtle snorkeling. Food is served all day. For those who are physically very active see a company called Bluewaterrafting. This is a rugged 5 hour snorkeling “classroom” adventure into areas that can only be seen from smaller maneuverable boats. They serve a continental breakfast and sandwich lunch, both of which were very good. Just down the street from the condo is a company called Mauibeachboys for surfing instruction and surf board rentals. This is good for the whole family in an area with beginner waves. We saw 5 year old children surfing the 2 foot waves in a matter of minutes. Plan a day to drive to the top of the 10,000’ volcano for incredible views. It isn’t far, but the road is slow due to many switchbacks. There are places that appear close by car, but there are roads on Maui that are not authorized by rental car companies for use. This vacation met or exceeded all of our expectations."

"Perfect base camp in paradise for our group of 2 adults and 2 teenagers! Well kept, well stocked, with beach gear, cooler, golf clubs, and a well-stocked kitchen. Dave and Vicki thought of everything. Our highlights included:
Outrigger Canoe right next door (Do this - SO WORTHWHILE!!!!)
Snuba at Molokini (short ride)
Hiking Waihee Ridge Trail (a 4.5 mile trek in the mist; beautiful vistas along the way)
Kamehameha Parade in Lahaina (BEAUTIFUL!)
Haleakala Ziplining (short ride up the mountain)
Maui Theater in Lahaina (Ulelani performance was such a treat)
Snorkeling at Ulua beach (the snorkeling gear from condo was perfect for this)
Walking along the beaches (right at the condo)
Shave Ice (within walking distance)
Musubi and Poke Bowls with grilled Mahi using both BBQ areas (rooftop and poolside)
As you can see, the condo was key for many of these activities. Mahalo, Vicki and Dave, for providing the perfect place for our vacation!"
