"This was our Paradise on Earth location for many previous summer vacations, (we think 1975 was the first time we stayed at the Nani ). The Nani Kai was were we celebrated many Anniversaries & Birthdays with world-wide friends! After a number of years of absence due to circumstances we decided to return to celebrate our "45th". How wonderful to reconnect with Barbara and her precious Wally. She is very special & we were thrilled to hug her!
After a long day of travel, a quick late night stop at Safeway & learning that you can't buy liquor after 11 PM...we opened the door to our Paradise home & there waiting an Anniversary Gift & a welcome "Cheers".
Our three weeks was relaxing, Barbara was just a phone call away if we needed ANYTHING! What could we possibly need! The Condo was even better equipped then we remembered, a true home away from home.
We chose to dine in most of the time, we had our own "million dollar" view, we'd Bar B Q and then sit on the Lanai looking out to sea thinking how lucky we were to be here!
On Barbara's recommendation we celebrated at the 5 Palms Restaurant. Perfect!
Sunday morning worships were at Keawala'i Congregational Church at Makena. So many fond memories from years gone by.
We played golf at Pukalaani and Maui Nui.
A once in a lifetime opportunity, at the point near Paie & Mamma's: 25+ turtles resting on the beach along with a sunning Monk Seal. As you wandered the beach in front of the condo you could watch the Rays & other ocean creatures frolicking in the waves.
Barbara, dear friend, a HUGE Mahalo for making this vacation & Anniversay so memorable! Will we celebrate "50" at the Nani...sure do hope so!!!!
Lots of Love.

"Mahalo to Jennifer and Rolf for their lovely condo. We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, modern, and comfortable with lots of nice extra amenuties. It was terrific to have all the essentials in the kitchen for preparing meals in to save on expenses for the 8 days we were there. There were plenty of linens and extra pillows. The bed was so comfortable! It was great to have a laundry room on the same floor. I loved that there was two full bathrooms! My man and I each had one to ourselves which felt indulgent. There were even extra lawn chairs, ice chest and soft sided cooler if we needed them. The location of Nana Kai Hale was wonderful. We walked the beautiful beach and enjoyed the well kept grounds. It was incredibly convienient to that the farmer's market, ABC store, and shaved ice stand were just across the street and down a block. Not to mention getting out and exploring the island and doing so many great activites: snorkeling, hiking, walking the beaches, shoppng, and just relaxing there.
I recommend this as a wonderful vacation rental! When we come back to Maui in the future I beleive this is were we will stay. Mahalo!"

"The condo is great. We could not thing of anything that we needed that was not provided. It even had some spices in the kitchen to make our eggs more tasty. Not all condos do that. The rooms were nicely furnished, the kitchen very well stocked with appliances and pots/pans of every kind and tons of glasses and dishes. Having two bathrooms was ideal even for just the two of us. Makes for greater harmony when traveling! A bit of road noise but the condo is so conveniently located it makes up for it. Tons of easy shopping, restaurants, and access to all the key activities on the island and the airport. We felt very comfortable and pampered during our stay. Lovely beach too, with morning canoe club practice making for fun viewing."

"We stayed here for a week and enjoyed our stay. Nani Kai Hale is a nice, quiet property. Kihei is a relaxing little community with quick access to fun shops, Big Beach (and other beautiful beaches right out front), Wailea and serious shopping over at the Wailea mall, if you enjoy that sort of thing. As for the property, the owners did a lovely job remodeling this condo and having two bathrooms was very nice! Everything was there - beach towels, beach gear, etc. - to make this trip fun. The only thing you might want to be prepared for is this is probably closer to a full size bed versus a queen and the mattress in this unit is VERY, VERY soft. We actually suggested to the owners replacing it. Other than that, it's GREAT. Some road noise from the highway/road leading in from Lahaina, but it gets quiet quickly as the evening winds down, plus most of the Kihei strip was a busy little street. We can't imagine any other property doesn't experience the same thing to some extent."
