"This is a great location if you are interested in exploring everything that Maui has to offer. Because of this spots central location you can get to all parts of the island with a manageable drive. Lahaina is about 25 minutes north-west, big beach is about 20 minutes south, and the road to Hana starts about 15 north east.
The property owner was super helpful and very nice. There was some internet/cable TV issues during our stay. He did everything he could to try and resolve the problem. Because the issue didn't get resolved while we were there he let us check out as late as we wanted on our last day so it was almost like we got another 1/2 day in paradise!
There was one issue with the property that has been addressed by other reviews. For some it might not be a problem but for us it was a nuisance. The west wall of the condo is floor to ceiling windows and is covered by some thin bamboo blinds. The blinds are fairly thin, and are a slightly see through. That fact that others could see into the condo a bit at night didn't bother my wife and I (were both young and have no children). The issue for us is that these blinds let in a TON of light in the morning. As soon as the sun rises the condo floods with light. If you like waking up at sunrise you might enjoy this. But for anyone who is not a morning person or might have a hangover this is not ideal. There is a japanese style fold out paper wall. It is also very see through. We ended up hanging towels over this and standing it right next to the bed to try and block the light so we could sleep in. I think if the property owner would just invest in some thick curtains this issue would be solved.
Other than being woken up sunrise every morning this was a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to my friends, and if you are a morning person this this condo is perfect for budget travelers!"

"My wife and I stayed at this condo for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pictures are accurate/up to date as of this review. This condo is in a great location. It is just north of the busy part of Kihei, but has easy access to the main routes in Maui. Like the other reviewers stated, the view is spectacular, and while more than three feet from the water, I'm pretty sure I could have thrown a rock into the water from the balcony had it not been against condo rules. The sound of the surf at night in the bedroom was great, if not a bit loud with the window open. You could easily hear it even with the windows closed. In the interest of full disclosure, and if it matters, the master bedroom mattress either started its life on the soft side, or has been in service a while. Parking is similar to ALL other locations on Maui - parking spaces tend to be quite narrow. So you may want to think twice before renting that big car or SUV. Breakfast every morning on the lanai was a real treat.
I would not hesitate to recommend this unit, with one very minor caveat. My previous experience with vrbo rentals has been there is typically leftovers/goodies or sometimes a welcome basket that can get you by until the next day. We arrived on a late flight, and found the only food items in the kitchen were starter coffee/tea and some very basic spices in the cabinet. The brand new (and massive) refrigerator was absolutely empty. It turned out to be a very minor quibble since there was *coffee* and there was also a farmers market across the street with fruit and yummy breads. We had a great time at the condo."

"From beginning to end, this condo was perfect for the 2 of us. Very nicely appointed and upgraded. Quiet small complex a little bit north of the more busy area to the south (about 5 miles). It was close enough to easily access all of the Kihei area. The grounds of the complex were manicured with beautiful natural landscaping. Would stay there again without hesitation.
If all leasing agents were as helpful, honest, and professional as Susan Shore, the world would be a better place for travelers.
If you want a 1 bedroom just a few miles away from the hustle and bustle of south Kihei, don't hesitate to choose this place."

"We were warmly welcomed by office staff who also gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The accommodations were very comfortable and worked well for the five of us. The view from the balcony was great especially the sunsets. The beach was great with warm calm water and we got to swim with sea turtles. We used the rooftop grill one night. We would highly recommend this condo to others and would rent it again."
