"The condo was beautiful and the location was perfect... It was like having a beach in your back yard.. Highly recommend this condo."Guest: Banana Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 21, 2014View listing
"What an amazing week we had in Maui. Did not have a less than stellar day. We loved the Menehune shores condo. Everything in the description listed was absolutely as advertised. Loved the furnishings and the beds were more comfortable than what we have at home. Slept great every night. The condo had everything listed plus a lot more. Beach chairs, lots of towels, guide books, sun hats, plenty of leftover sunscreen. Check the pantry before grocery shopping, you will not have to purchase as much as you expect. Kihei is a great location for sightseeing. Very centrally located, we saw every inch of the island. Road to Hana was a favorite for all of us, only wished we had spent the night there so we could see it all. Snorkeled every day. My two boys ages 16 and 9 loved the boogie boards and also said their mattresses were extremely comfortable. Used the outdoors grills, very clean and well maintained. We used the pool once, it was very nice, but enjoyed the ocean so much more. The farmers market down the road was great, friendly people and good prices, also a safeway nearby. Rented our snorkels from snorkel bobs down the road. Also did a Luau at the Marriotts. in Wailea, very beautiful. Favorite beach was probably Hamoa near Hana. Also liked Hanalua Bay and Ulua Beach. We thought all the public beaches in Maui were so well maintained and beautiful. Public bathrooms very clean and outdoor showers and nice parking at most all of them. We just have only great things to say about our vacation and thank the property owners and Robert the manager for making our stay so enjoyable and easy. Mahalo!"Guest: Chris S. "Great location, beautiful view, easy access to beach, great condo for couple getaway with quiet surroundings and fantastic patio that opens up on ground level to the beach shore just like picture!!! Worked very well with older person with slight handicap knees. Many great attractions near by and great center location for getting around on island. Small accommodating condo for two with all the amenities. Bathroom was small, not very well ventilated, needed cleaning, upgrade on toilet plumbing and placement of toilet paper roll (near ground). Other than that, FANTASTIC!!!! Would return :)"Guest: Nikki S. Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 3, 2014View listing
"We are finishing up our three-week stay here and couldn't be happier! Michael and Laylia's condo here at Menehune Shores is A-1! Right on the beach with a gorgeous view, beautifully decorated and thoroughly equipped. Because we were staying so long we added to some of the supplies (TP, paper towels, laundry soap, etc) but for a short stay that wouldn't be necessary. Our daughter and granddaughter also joined us for part of the time and they enjoyed the condo and it's location to all things Maui. My husband loved the Indian restaurant on-site and we enjoyed the music on Thursdays and Fridays...the condo's lanai is right above the open-air dining area, so the aromas and music drift right up thru the lattice-work ceiling of the restaurant. The Kings Pond in front of the condo is excellent fun for non-swimmers to get in the "ocean". It's protected from the wave surge by a rock wall and is mostly shallow...waist deep. The locals also really seem to enjoy it although it doesn't get too crowded. The pool at the condo is well maintained and cared for by on-site staff who are very friendly. All in all a wonderful place to spend three weeks in Paradise! Will definitely recommend this place to our friends! Mahalo Mike and Laylia!"Guest: Karin & James D.
