  • Perfectly Relaxing

"Maui is a beautiful place and I found that Nani Kai Hale is an equal match. The description on the VRBO website is totally accurate. The place is fantastic! The condo faces Maalaea Bay and you can see for miles, including the offshore islands of Molokini and Kahoolawe. The peaceful waters in front of the Condo are so relaxing you just melt as you watch canoes drift silently by and people stroll the more than a mile long beach. I enjoyed passing time on the lanai, catching a few rays and just letting the world go by. Inside, the Condo has everything to make your dream vacation just that, a dream. There is a complete kitchen with full size fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and all the pots, pans, dishes and silverware you'll ever need. Just a few steps away is a complete laundry room. The Condo is nicely appointed, up to date and very clean. Your adventures are not far off since the Condo is situated at a crossroads of sorts in the middle of the island for easy access to all the "must see" places. This was my first visit to Maui and Nani Kai Hale made it perfect! I already want to come back...and I will be back!!"

  • Comfortable In Kihei

"My wife and I went to Maui for the first time and loved it. The South Shore was great for us, much less busy and snobby than the west shore; same dry climate and beaches just as good. The weather was perfect, and if sea turtles are your thing we saw 7 on our first snorkel of the trip in Makena, as well as a manta Ray. We traveled the whole Island from Kihei and found it very central, but of course a vehicle is a must. The condo was fine, not finished as nicely as others in the complex but the price was the best. As a professional renovator I saw lots of ways to improve the unit, but it was comfortable and sufficient for our needs. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the private lanai. The pool and barbecue area was great, we ended up not even leaving the complex one day until close to 6pm! There are several full time residents in the complex (you can spot them by their full deep tans) and all the ones we met were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to other couples, but a studio is definitely not the way to go with a family, even though there is a hide-a-bed."

  • Can't wait to return

"We were fortunate to start out the month of Dec. staying once again at Kihei Sands in our favorite unit. What a great place! The entire property is so well maintained, and we enjoy all the amenities that are offered on the site and in the condo - very well equipped for just about anything you need to make your stay away from home so comfortable. We love where this condo is located in the complex. Even though (according to the property map) it looks that this unit is furthest from the beach, it's literally a 10 second walk to have your toes in the ocean. The unit is very private and we would rather be in this location versus one of the front units. In the mornings we liked grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting on the lovely patio/grass area, enjoying the view of the ocean. It’s so nice not having to cross a busy highway to get to the beach. And what a beach, great for walks & a lot of the time it feels like you’re on your own private beach!! Just the best place, we'll be back."

  • Peaceful setting

"My son got married at Haiku Mill and this area was centrally located as we drove to the airport, Lahaina, Kihei Marriott, Kihei Fairmount within 15-30minutes. Close to Coconuts, one of our favorite restaurants and Ululani shaved ice and beach across from the condo. Wendi was very accomodating and worked with us with whatever we needed. The condo was on second floor so a little difficult for handicaps. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing that can be improved is the condo need a little upgrade but for the price you can't beat it. Had problems with tiny ants but not major. Overall, it is a wonderful place for a getaway. We would definitely recommend this place and Wendi has been the best."
