"The property is in a very good location. I think it is central to the main go to places. The surroundings were kept clean; pool and barbeque areas well maintained. The kitchen was surprisingly complete using quality appliances, pots and pans. They even had spices! The beds were very comfortable. It was really nice to have the laundry and cleaning materials available. Best of all excellent view. You know you’re in paradise!"

  • Condo with A/C

"Good spot for families- we had a family reunion with two condos in complex rented. Has all the amenities needed. Outside lanai was fantastic for family meals for the large nos. Downstairs shower a little tired in appearance, but worked well. Beds comfy. Pool in complex was great when tired of exploring all the wonderful beaches in the area. Lounge area is a little dark - furnishings play a role in this as we could see from other condo what a difference light pictures, less cluttered decor and furniture play in lightening up the unit. Had everything we needed and we were extremely grateful for the aircon! We had a good time here."

  • Low price for such luxury!!!

"This was my first time in Maui. My stay at an awesome cozy place like this made the whole trip perfect. The room is beautiful. Big bed for two. Nice new clean carpet. Couch, lots of windows so u get a cool breeze at nite. I didn't need to use the air conditioning at all. Has a microwave & mini fridge for cool drinks & snacks. Large private bathroom with two sinks, shower and a huge round bathtub. Did I mention it has its own private entrance with slidding doors?...and small table with chairs outside to drink your coffe in the morning. This is a private home in a decent neighborhood, so I suggest you don't play any loud music. I was looking for a quiet neighborhood to get away from busy city life in Chicago, so this was perfect for my daughter and I. Diane is an awesome host. And if you need to do laundry you can use the washers located in her garage. Just a few blocks down are the beaches, restaurants and shops. The room is truly amazing, very comfortable. Was the best vacation in years! Thank you Diane for being such a great host. It was nice meeting your husband Gord as well.....aloha!!! Sincerely....katya"

  • Could Not have Been Better!

"We LOVED everything about our 6-night stay in this cottage and enthusiastically recommend it! The house is super comfortable, clean and well stocked. And the location is ideal, with a very private beach right across the street and good shopping options just a short drive away. It’s also conveniently located for outings – it was easy to access highways to get to all areas of the island. Our party included two families (5 total) and we cooked several meals at the house. The kitchen is well stocked for meal prep and serving and there is a gas grill available. We ate many of our meals outside in the lovely back garden, but we could also fit comfortably around the dining table. The air conditioning was very welcome on warmer days and combined with ceiling fans, cooled down the house quickly. The beds were comfy and everyone slept well. The bathrooms were spacious and stocked with LOTS of towels. There are a few other units on the property, but it still felt private and secluded, with plenty of paved onsite parking for the rental cars. Despite being on a fairly busy street, it was very quiet —even on the busy July 4th weekend we were not bothered by the traffic. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and immaculate; like having our own tropical paradise right outside. The beach is heavenly both for walking and swimming. There is a path to the beach directly across from the house. We took a stroll or jog every morning and evening and almost always had the beach to ourselves; shared only with a few local guys fishing or sometimes a few other walkers. We LOVED this aspect of our stay here – so very different from the busy resort scene. There is a wonderful outdoor shower and hose sprayer on the property to wash off the sand after visits to the beach. Michael & Cecelia are friendly and welcoming hosts. Michael was there to greet us when we arrived and showed around the house. When I made the blunder of leaving my hand luggage behind when we left, he was extremely kind and graciously went to the trouble of packing and shipping the suitcase back to me on the mainland. I know it was an inconvenience, but he never made me feel like I was putting him out. I am SO grateful to him for going above and beyond for me. All in all, we had a perfectly wonderful experience and we would definitely stay here again if/when we are fortunate enough to return to Maui."
