  • Well appointed and renovated nicely

"Nothing much to say other than it was a pleasant stay and exactly what we needed. Pretty close to the airport and works out well if you get in late like we did."

  • Fabulous Vacation

"Our stay our was terrific . The property was well maintained, the common area was lovely with ample beach chairs and tables. The common BBQ was great, very modern and clean. The pool was small but perfect for the kids.. Rarely saw any adults in it! The unit itself was clean and well appointed. Full kitchen with plenty of pots/pans/dishes. Only complaint was that decor/furniture was a tad bit dated but did not take away from my enjoyment. Our unit stones throw from the ocean, so that trumped everything ! Parking spaces were super tight, glad we had a small car. Management team were terrific to deal with, very helpful and friendly. Would come again and highly recommend."

  • A stay in paradise doesn't get any better than this!

"Unit was great from the get go. It is very well maintained & is so close to the shore. We lacked for nothing in the way of kitchen utensils, dinnerware or pots & pans. New pans, great lids. There is a fancy rice cooker but we didn't try it. In condo washer/dryer is a great feature. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a tub/shower unit & wasn't cramped. There were plenty of towels as well as beach towels & beach chairs, Tommy Bahamas, the real good ones on site. The appliances were great. The owner has thought of everything. The on sight BBQs are well maintained and there is a very nice pool in the compound. The living and dining room area was very functional. This is a great condo for a couple. We ate on the lanai most nights, & breakfasts enjoying the view, watching a spectacular array of whale beaches, jaw drops, tail slaps & blow whole spouting, right in front of us. There are binoculars in the condo. Many multiple breaches. Pretty spectacular. Ancient fish pond area is a nice area for those with children, or those that don't want to be pounded by the surf. That option is a few steps to the south & most days fairly calm. Owner was great to deal with. No problems what so ever. Close to the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale Sanctuary Visitor Center. Head to Lahaina for Warren & Annabelle's Magic Show. Great evening! Highly recommend. Book before your trip. Saturday am head to Kahului, Maui Swap Meat at college. Produce, artisans & souvenirs. 100 plus booths. Want flowers go early. Best pineapples - Costco. In Kihei at Uliani, shaved Ice. Get the ice cream in the bottom. What a treat! Go to outdoor market. Open 9-4 daily. Catch a Whale Watch boat ride. Head to Whaler's Village Mall in Kaanapali. Check out some stores. Stores (with purchase) gave us a validation sticker for 3 hours parking. Wander around shops & go to the Whaler's Museum. Nice walking handheld phone narration display. 11:00 am is time for Whale Talk which was a PowerPoint, video & whale volunteer discussion. Lasted an hour, very informative. Visit Up Country. Drive to Pa'Ia & Macawao. Head further Up Country, very scenic views of Maalaa Bay & Kahului shore area. Tour Ocean Organic Vodka distillery, made from sugar cane. Taste vodka & rum. So much to do so close to this condo. We enjoyed our stay here at on Maui's South Shore! Highly recommend this condo, so much in fact have already rebooked for next year."

  • Beauty and History

"It was a special treat to spend the week in a lovely setting with sunshine almost the whole time. To add to the enjoyment, the ancient Hawaiian fishpond directly in front of the condo helped to create a special ambience. With Winter wave conditions elsewhere on the island, it was great to enjoy the fishpond for quieter swimming along with a couple of turtles nearby and later, to learn about its historical origins from the Pacific Whale Foundation, conveniently located almost nextdoor! There are multiple "water toys" for maximum beach enjoyment and personal, artistic touches along with the most modern of kitchen appliances and lovely decorating. The lanai (patio area) is a great gathering spot for watching sunsets as well as the adjacent lawn which would be a great place for watching little kids! Adding in whale season and seeing periodic "blows" made for a great vacation!"
