  • Can't wait to return

"We were fortunate to start out the month of Dec. staying once again at Kihei Sands in our favorite unit. What a great place! The entire property is so well maintained, and we enjoy all the amenities that are offered on the site and in the condo - very well equipped for just about anything you need to make your stay away from home so comfortable. We love where this condo is located in the complex. Even though (according to the property map) it looks that this unit is furthest from the beach, it's literally a 10 second walk to have your toes in the ocean. The unit is very private and we would rather be in this location versus one of the front units. In the mornings we liked grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting on the lovely patio/grass area, enjoying the view of the ocean. It’s so nice not having to cross a busy highway to get to the beach. And what a beach, great for walks & a lot of the time it feels like you’re on your own private beach!! Just the best place, we'll be back."

  • Great place....right ON the beach!

"This was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, most of the bottom units were damaged due to an issue not related to the Condo owners. There was lots of construction during the daytime, but it was unavoidable. What I really wanted to share was the friendly reception from the managers (Jonathan & Cheri) and the beauty of the condo and beach. Though not real large units, they are perfectly adequate for sleeping, cooking and hanging out. However - who wants to be inside when all the excitement is outside! They had a couple of events scheduled during the week that encouraged guests to come out and enjoy one another's company. The patio leading to the beach was always immaculate...and the morning coffee was always ready!! Only 20 steps or so, and you were on the beach!!! Thanks Kihei Sands!"

  • Nicely furnished, accessible location, good value

"My wife & I enjoyed a month stay (Jan-Feb 2015) with this condo unit as our home-base. The unit is nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen had enough cookware/dishes for meals, including nice extras like a rice cooker. The unit lanai faces south, for a nice N-S breeze between the windows and lanai. (Barely used the A/C.) Location give easy access to far South beaches (using Piilani Hwy) in 15min, and West (Lahaina/Kaanapali) in 30min. Lots of beach gear on the lanai, including sand toys & snorkel sets: mostly usable, although several of the boogie boards were cracked. We used some things, and added a new set of Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrella when we left. We've stayed several times in KBV (at two other units), so were familiar with the location and didn't need any help while there. While we didn't ever see an onsite manager in the condo office, Ken had provided contact numbers, if help was needed. This was our first time in this unit, and it compared favorably with the others. Bottom line, we enjoyed the place and would come back."

  • Other Condos do not compare

"Everything was better than we imagined. Kihei Sands was RIGHT ON the beach, just as advertised. Friendly staff, quiet & beautiful beach, great snokeling just meters away, quiet condo units. Our unit B2 was updated and beautiful, completely contained unit (cooking and dishware, beach stuff, etc) Couldn't have been better. Perfect for families, we don't think other condos in Maui are comparable."
