  • Can't Imagine a Better Place to Stay on Maui!

"My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at Kihei Kai #12! What a treat to be steps from what became our favorite beach on Maui - Sugar Beach. We took longs walks every night and enjoyed the patio for meals. We canoed with the Maui Canoe Club just up the beach from us. We snorkeled, sunbathed, swam, relaxed, all of it! Right from our homebase. Chip and Charlotte couldn't have been more accommodating. When the island's first hurricane in 22 years threatened to hit, they were a phone call away to make sure we had what we needed and felt safe. They even offered to let us come stay with them if things got bad! Luckily, the weather held off and we got to finish our vacation in our cozy condo, taking advantage of the smart TV during the few rain showers we did have. A few other highlights before I sign off: - Dina's Sandwitch up the beach was so much fun for drinks and food. Met locals each night we went who offered great advice. - Loved the collection of books to borrow from right by the condo's laundry unit! - Go get a macadamia nut cinnamon roll from Kihei Caffe down the road a bit. I wish I had gone back for a second before leaving. Best thing I ate all week. - Canoeing with the Maui Canoe Club just steps away was a real treat (and great arm workout) for cheap. - Shopping for unique souvenirs is so much better upcountry (Pa'ia, Makawao) than Front Street in Lahaina. If we ever make it back to Maui, the only thing I know we'll do for sure is stay at the Kihei Kai #12. Thanks for everything, Chip and Charlotte!"

  • Excellent place

"We are a family of 5 adults from Argentina. The house is awesome, 10 mts to the beach and a quiet area. The house is so much clean. Have beach stuff. One of the most important thing is the attention of Mike, the owner of the house, he is so friendly. Everything great and clean!!"

  • A Glorious Place to Stay!

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your condo! The condo was in excellent condition when we arrived, even better than the photos depict. The location of the condo is awesome.....We just had to walk down one flight of stairs to get to the pool or the beach. Sugar Beach is our favorite beach on the entire island. We have stayed at other locations along Sugar Beach in the past, but now we are totally sold on your condo. In fact, we were scheduled to spend the last two days of our vacation at our friend's home Upcountry, but as we were packing to leave our last morning, we realized we did not want to leave. We called Fran to see if the condo was available for the next two nights and, lucky for us, she said the condo was available!! We were thrilled! The location of Sugar Beach Resort is superb for those who want to explore the island. Very centrally located; it was easy to head to any part of the island or to just run into Kihei for groceries, a good restaurant and shopping. There is a fantastic Farmer's Market very close to the Resort. We bought most of our produce and flowers there. We highly recommend staying in this condo. And I can't say enough about how easy and effortlessly it was to work with Fran throughout the entire process! We Will Be Back!!! Mahalo!"

  • Great Place!

"What a great getaway and peaceful place! Our family of five spent 4 nights in this condo. Plenty of room to spread out, amenities were perfect, the pool and spa were great places to relax as well as meet some of the locals - and get ideas as to what to do and where to go that aren't on any maps! The location was perfect for us as we went exploring in different directions each day but were never 'out of the way'. We would definitely make this our vacation spot again. So relaxing!"
