"Honestly, it's was clean and comfortable. It's good for a group of single girls who don't mind sharing. A couple. I don't about men unless they are okay with sharing as well. It's small, but it has all you need. It's in kihei which is not the prettiest part of the island. Don't get discouraged. Just drive down a little more and you will encounter the beautiful beaches, snorkeling spots, hotel area, exc.. But you gotta drive out of kihei. Try this place called coconuts. It has the best fish tacos ever!! It's real close to the condo. Also, no night life in Maui really, but it has enough to relax and have a few drinks. Maui is beautiful !!!! Amazing!!!! I loved it!!!!!!! Best trip I've ever had. Such beautiful scenery and mesmerizing beaches/mountains/cliffs.. Omg it's amazing!!! If you go Scuba Diving try Maui Diving and ask for Major. Best instructor out there. He made our trip amazing! Hope this helps :) Cristina"Guest: Cristina Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 18, 2014View listing
"This condo was exactly how the pictures look! We spent our 25th anniversary here & it couldn't have been more perfect. Loved being able to sit on the lanai in the morning & see the canoe's going by, also saw turtles in the evening. I can't think of a thing that wasn't already in the condo that we needed. The location was central to everything we wanted to do & we can't wait to come back to Maui again. I highly recommend the Kihei Café for breakfast! You may have to wait in line for a bit but the food is plentiful & definitely worth it, we brought back leftovers & they were just as yummy the next day. We have already recommended this condo to friends & family!"Guest: 25th anniversary Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 4, 2014View listing
"The condo was perfect for our family with 2 boys. Having 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a washer/dryer came in real handy. We only had to pack small carry-ons! Air conditioners were in each room, so we stayed nice and cool when we were there. The condo was very clean, and the instructions provided by the owners made it very easy to stay. We never had any issues at all. The complex is very quiet, located right on the beach...and this condo is on the ground floor which was extra convenient. Right in front of the complex is what the locals call the "King's fishing pond"...it is where they would trap the fish within a large rock-walled area so the King could fish easily (at least that is what one local told me). The result is a calm and safe area to swim and snorkel. We saw 2 turtles near the rocks!"Guest: lori p. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 23, 2014View listing
"The owner has a very well cared for condo and property. Menehune Shores has a visible, polite staff cleaning and maintaining the immaculate grounds and pool. This is a top floor, private end unit next to stairs. I arrived to Hawaiian music and fresh flowers, opened all the windows and turn on the ceiling fans. The climate and temperature was perfect! I would recommend this property to friends and relatives. The beach walking is wonderful, virtually unobstructed (after you go around several private spaces). I walked for hours every morning along a clean, relatively empty shore. Mostly locals out with their dogs or just their morning routine. Menehune Shores is next to the road - like many condos in Kihei - but you get used to any traffic after the first day/night. You have rooms with views of the ocean after all!! ENJOY!"Guest: Ahtel Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 27, 2014View listing
