"Mahalo for a lovely stay! We felt like we were at home with all the extras in this cute condo. Mostly loved the beach equipment, has everything from beach toys, floating toys for kids, sand toys, beach umbrellas ,mats and a cooler, which other families who came for baseball didnt have in the condos they were staying at down the road. We really made use of them as we were there also for a baseball tournament. To have these on hand was awesome! Loved too that we were right across the beach. Thankyou for making this an extra memorable trip for my family. My son's team won their games and are on their way to the World Series in San Jose =)"

"We loved this place. It was exactly the right amount of isolation and still close to all the action. The beach views were exactly what we were after and easy to get to. the place was well kept and clean, and felt like Hawaii. We much preferred it to the typical "resort" feel you can find in any tropical location. Thanks!"

"This is a great location if you are interested in exploring everything that Maui has to offer. Because of this spots central location you can get to all parts of the island with a manageable drive. Lahaina is about 25 minutes north-west, big beach is about 20 minutes south, and the road to Hana starts about 15 north east.
The property owner was super helpful and very nice. There was some internet/cable TV issues during our stay. He did everything he could to try and resolve the problem. Because the issue didn't get resolved while we were there he let us check out as late as we wanted on our last day so it was almost like we got another 1/2 day in paradise!
There was one issue with the property that has been addressed by other reviews. For some it might not be a problem but for us it was a nuisance. The west wall of the condo is floor to ceiling windows and is covered by some thin bamboo blinds. The blinds are fairly thin, and are a slightly see through. That fact that others could see into the condo a bit at night didn't bother my wife and I (were both young and have no children). The issue for us is that these blinds let in a TON of light in the morning. As soon as the sun rises the condo floods with light. If you like waking up at sunrise you might enjoy this. But for anyone who is not a morning person or might have a hangover this is not ideal. There is a japanese style fold out paper wall. It is also very see through. We ended up hanging towels over this and standing it right next to the bed to try and block the light so we could sleep in. I think if the property owner would just invest in some thick curtains this issue would be solved.
Other than being woken up sunrise every morning this was a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to my friends, and if you are a morning person this this condo is perfect for budget travelers!"

A stay in paradise doesn't get any better than this!
"Unit was great from the get go. It is very well maintained & is so close to the shore. We lacked for nothing in the way of kitchen utensils, dinnerware or pots & pans. New pans, great lids. There is a fancy rice cooker but we didn't try it. In condo washer/dryer is a great feature. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a tub/shower unit & wasn't cramped. There were plenty of towels as well as beach towels & beach chairs, Tommy Bahamas, the real good ones on site. The appliances were great. The owner has thought of everything. The on sight BBQs are well maintained and there is a very nice pool in the compound. The living and dining room area was very functional. This is a great condo for a couple. We ate on the lanai most nights, & breakfasts enjoying the view, watching a spectacular array of whale beaches, jaw drops, tail slaps & blow whole spouting, right in front of us. There are binoculars in the condo. Many multiple breaches. Pretty spectacular. Ancient fish pond area is a nice area for those with children, or those that don't want to be pounded by the surf. That option is a few steps to the south & most days fairly calm. Owner was great to deal with. No problems what so ever. Close to the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale Sanctuary Visitor Center. Head to Lahaina for Warren & Annabelle's Magic Show. Great evening! Highly recommend. Book before your trip. Saturday am head to Kahului, Maui Swap Meat at college. Produce, artisans & souvenirs. 100 plus booths. Want flowers go early. Best pineapples - Costco. In Kihei at Uliani, shaved Ice. Get the ice cream in the bottom. What a treat! Go to outdoor market. Open 9-4 daily. Catch a Whale Watch boat ride. Head to Whaler's Village Mall in Kaanapali. Check out some stores. Stores (with purchase) gave us a validation sticker for 3 hours parking. Wander around shops & go to the Whaler's Museum. Nice walking handheld phone narration display. 11:00 am is time for Whale Talk which was a PowerPoint, video & whale volunteer discussion. Lasted an hour, very informative.
Visit Up Country. Drive to Pa'Ia & Macawao. Head further Up Country, very scenic views of Maalaa Bay & Kahului shore area. Tour Ocean Organic Vodka distillery, made from sugar cane. Taste vodka & rum. So much to do so close to this condo. We enjoyed our stay here at on Maui's South Shore! Highly recommend this condo, so much in fact have already rebooked for next year."
