  • Location, Location, Location

"Location says it all. 27 steps to the gorgeous pool from the lanai. 1 building back from the road noise. 2 minutes walk to the beach. 10 minute walk to Moose's bar to catch the hockey game (it's a Canadian tradition) and several other restaurants and stores. Your morning coffee sitting on the lanai to watch the Sunrise over Mt Haleakala and the waves rolling in. (Don't forget to buy the Kona coffee at Costco by the airport) Your glass of wine on the lanai to watch the sun dip below the horizon of the ocean, or join the other guests as they mingle to blow the conch shells signally the setting sun. Don't worry, you have a full view even if you're not feeling social. Unit 108 was perfectly clean, stocked with the essentials, towels and linens plentiful, beach chairs, umbrella all there. (Take a few extra rolls of TP if you have gals in the group LOL)The property manager was there in a jiff when the telephone was dead. (Reboot the router and save yourself a call) We had a wonderful 10 days. Brenda was awesome to book with. I'll be back to unit 108."

  • Great Stay. Highly recommended

"Lovely unit, well equipped. Grounds were well looked after, staff courteous and lovely location on the beach at the quiet end of the main strip of Kihei. Owners were great to work with, respond promptly to emails and phone calls. Great stay, thanks Chuck and Teresa."

  • Awesome!

"This was our 4th trip to Maui (3rd at Hale Kamaole). We whole heartedly agree with earlier reviews. The unit is clean, comfortable and fully stocked with more than you will need. Our grown daughter used the fold out bed and was very comfortable. If you are looking for a 1 bedroom, a ground floor unit is the way to go. It is so convenient for access to the BBQ, pool and parking. This one is an end unit so has additional windows for light and ventilation. We found the owners a pleasure to work with and everything went so smoothly. We will definitely be reaching out to them for our next Maui visit - hopefully next year!"

  • Lovely Condo

"My rating is VERY GOOD but they don't seem to have that as a choice! We had a great time at Hale Kamaole. Your condo is so nice and it is a very relaxing place to stay. We liked that it was close to stores and the beach yet felt away from all the activity in Kihei. We traveled all over the island, except we missed the volcano areas -- next time. The condo is very tastefully decorated and has a well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed some dinners and breakfasts on the Lanai. Though there is not a direct view of the ocean, we moved the chairs and table out about 10 feet when we wanted to enjoy the ocean view and the sunsets. It is also close to the upper pool so you can take a dip and come back to the lanai if you don't want to sunbathe. A very nice beach is just beyond the entrance to the condo--it has a grassy area above which has a nice view of the coastline."
