  • Lovely condo, amazing view!

"First of all, 803 at the Mana Kai is a lovely condo inside and out. The owners have it all set up with everything we needed for our stay. The bedroom was very comfortable. We left the windows open so we could hear the ocean all night. The kitchen is well stocked the bathrooms have plenty of towels, including beach towels. My favorite part of this condo, however, was the view. This condo is on the top floor (8th floor) and it has one of the best views at the Mana Kai. Every morning we woke up to have coffee and breakfast on the lanai with a spectacular view. We could often see sea turtles right from the lanai. It's a perfect spot for relaxing and reading a good book. This was our second stay at the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai is on a lovely beach on the South side of Kihei. It's a great location -- close enough to easily travel to the town for groceries, shops, restaurants, but far enough to be away from the crowds. The beach itself is beautiful. We have never seen it crowded. There is nice snorkeling right outside the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai has a good restaurant right downstairs. They have an extended happy hour and it's a great, convenient place to go for a light dinner and drinks. They also have rentals right at the Mana Kai now, something that wasn't present the last time we visited, which was about seven years ago. Now you can rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, boogie boards and snorkel gear right on site. We took advantage of this and rented both kayaks and stand up paddle boards at reasonable rates. The pool has been re-done since we were last there and it is very pleasant. We never had to fight for lounge chairs at the pool or on the large grassy area next to the beach, as we have had to do at other resorts on Maui. The owners are also very nice. We were scheduled to fly in right when not one, but two hurricanes were projected to hit Hawaii. The owners allowed us to delay our trip at the last minute and we really appreciated that. Overall we had a wonderful stay at 803 Mana Kai. If you want to have a lovely, relaxing vacation, I recommend you come here. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. Nine days was not enough."

  • Fantastic property

"Our family of 4 just enjoyed a terrific vacation at this Condo. The unit has been beautifully renovated throughout and feels very luxurious yet comfortable. The owner has spared no expense on linens/towels, dishes/cooking items, beach equipment (2 chairs, 2 boogie boards, an umbrella) and A/C controls/fans. We absolutely loved the keyless entry....was perfect for our two kids who could run back to the room if they forgot something and taking walks on the beach without worrying about remembering a key was fantastic. We met many wonderful families during our stay and felt the Mana Kai has everything you need to make your stay pleasant.....store on site for snacks, restaurant with great Happy Hour, activities desk for booking tours and beach rentals as well. The view from the lanai is lovely and we especially loved the way the property is lit up at night with tiki torches. If we could ever afford a vacation home this is the type of Condo we would love to create. Mana Kai is a ideally located resort with a beautiful view and well laid out grounds. You won't regret a stay in this Condo, you really won't!"

  • Girls Getaway

"This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Mana Kai. The facilities are just really something special. We enjoyed the pool, grass lounging area and 5 Palms Restaurant (what a happy hour!) very much. The view from every single inch of the Mana Kai is incredible. It's right on the beach. A beautiful beach at that! Our stay in Patty's condo was beyond relaxing. The sound of waves can be clearly heard from both bedroom suites. There were 3 of us women and plenty of space for us to spread out. We loved the beach themed motif. The kitchen includes every single item you would need to make delicious meals. And, the place is so tidy! It was honestly a home away from home. Thank you Patty. We will definitely book this condo again in the future."
