"This was our first time to Mana Kai and our second visit to Maui. The view of the beach and ocean was unbelievable. It was wonderful to enjoy a cup of coffee each morning on the balcony watching the waves and even seeing turtles. Several nights we left the sliding glass door open to listen to the waves. What a great way to fall asleep. We have been staying in condos for a number of years with our two daughters (now ages 10 and 13), and this was by far the cleanest one ever! My girls loved the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the showers. They had all the kitchen needs covered, plenty of beach towels, and a number of activity magazines to look through. Sylvia was great to work with and the cleaning ladies that came half-way through our stay were wonderful. One thing to keep in mind is that the second "bedroom" is in the family room. It is right next to the kitchen with no privacy. It was great for us-our kids stayed in the first bedroom so we got to have that one and listen to the waves at night, but some may not like it. The a/c was a huge plus, especially having two of them (second one was in the other bedroom). We talked to some people staying in other condos at Mana Kai who only had one a/c and they were pretty miserable. This particular room, # 204, is right above the restaurant, but it wasn't really a big deal. I woke up a number of days hearing them setting up the tables, but I am a light sleeper. It was nice to smell bacon though! Joe was a great waiter and Tracy was a fantastic help at the activities desk. Also, Robin in the Surf shop was great. Oh, one small hiccup was that we weren't told that the ice maker is VERY slow at making ice. You definitely need to buy ice throughout your stay. We used a lot of it as we brought insulated water bottles for the beach (both onsite and other beaches we visited). It wasn't a big deal except we didn't know the ice maker wasn't working until we ran out of the ice that the previous renters must have bought. Highly recommend that you go to Costco for groceries. They are almost the same prices as back home and will save you a LOT of money. Safeway is also good (make sure to get the Safeway card), but don't go to Foodland. We bought six bags of groceries (breakfast stuff, a little for lunch, beer, a small bottle of vodka) and spent $300.
We would highly recommend this property and would definitely return. The owners have done a remarkable job!"

"All the units here have great views out toward Molokini and the south. The unit is clean and fully equipped for your stay. I particularly like having the deli and 5 Palms restaurant right on the first floor - very convenient for food and drink onsite. The beach and walking are one of the best for this area, so you cant go wrong staying in this location...have fun!"

"My husband and I just came back from spending 10 days at the Mana Kai resort . We really enjoyed staying in this condo. It is very well appointed and the owner has paid a lot of attention to details in order to make her guests very comfortable. The kitchen in particular is very well equipped with good pots and pans, quality knives, plenty of tableware etc...We spent a lot of time on the lanai looking at beautiful Keawapu beach. At night we enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the surf and did not need the air conditioning. It is ideal if you like to swim, the condo is right on the beach, golf courses are within a 15 minute drive and so are the shops in Kihei. It is also very pleasant to take a walk along the beach resorts of Wailea. There is a nice restaurant downstairs and a well stocked convenient store, activity desk, rental shop and pleasant staff. Highly recommended."

"Our family of four (two teens) stayed at the condo for six nights for spring break. We had a great time. The beach was right outside the condo. A grassy area in front of the beach was great for catching rays, and also had palm trees providing shade. There was a place right there to rent canoes, paddle boards, and boggie boards. The condo was fully furnished with everything we needed, even for the beach:). The view from the balcony was beautiful. There was a pool which we did not use. The location is great; close to shopping and restaurants in Waillea. The only bummer was we had to leave Maui! We would definitely stay there again."
