"From the moment we arrived, we knew we found a special place to stay. We had stayed in this area of Maui before, and loved the accessibility of so many wonderful beaches from the east and the west sides of the island. We were so pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the beach this condo building sits on was for us. There is an amazingly well manicured large lawn for guests to use the chaise lounge chairs, and just a couple steps away is a huge wide beach where you can walk right into the water. There are even excellent snorkeling areas just steps away. It was really beautiful and just perfect for us. There is even a really nice paddle board and snorkel gear rental on site, if you didn't bring your own.
The condo unit itself was in fabulous, updated condition and had a beautiful view of the beach. We even watched whales off in the distance during breakfast on the lanai. The kitchen was stocked well to prep whatever meals you wanted to make, but we only made breakfast and lunch there with having so many other options nearby for dinner. (The Five Palms and Sorrento's are so close, just a few steps away!
Overall, we all agreed this was the best condo we ever stayed in on Maui. Our family will be back!"

"First of all, 803 at the Mana Kai is a lovely condo inside and out. The owners have it all set up with everything we needed for our stay. The bedroom was very comfortable. We left the windows open so we could hear the ocean all night. The kitchen is well stocked the bathrooms have plenty of towels, including beach towels. My favorite part of this condo, however, was the view. This condo is on the top floor (8th floor) and it has one of the best views at the Mana Kai. Every morning we woke up to have coffee and breakfast on the lanai with a spectacular view. We could often see sea turtles right from the lanai. It's a perfect spot for relaxing and reading a good book.
This was our second stay at the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai is on a lovely beach on the South side of Kihei. It's a great location -- close enough to easily travel to the town for groceries, shops, restaurants, but far enough to be away from the crowds. The beach itself is beautiful. We have never seen it crowded. There is nice snorkeling right outside the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai has a good restaurant right downstairs. They have an extended happy hour and it's a great, convenient place to go for a light dinner and drinks. They also have rentals right at the Mana Kai now, something that wasn't present the last time we visited, which was about seven years ago. Now you can rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, boogie boards and snorkel gear right on site. We took advantage of this and rented both kayaks and stand up paddle boards at reasonable rates. The pool has been re-done since we were last there and it is very pleasant. We never had to fight for lounge chairs at the pool or on the large grassy area next to the beach, as we have had to do at other resorts on Maui.
The owners are also very nice. We were scheduled to fly in right when not one, but two hurricanes were projected to hit Hawaii. The owners allowed us to delay our trip at the last minute and we really appreciated that.
Overall we had a wonderful stay at 803 Mana Kai. If you want to have a lovely, relaxing vacation, I recommend you come here. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. Nine days was not enough."

"I have been going to the Mana Kai for the past 10 years, and have stayed in several units (all priced comparatively). This condo #204 was by far the best! Beautifully furnished, fully stocked, amazing view, with full amenities at the Mana Kai (pool, best beach on Maui, activity desk). In addition, the property manager, Sylvia Dodge was great to work with, and the cleaning company did an immaculate job!! What more can you ask for? We will definitely be back next year!"

"We have stayed at the Mana Kai every year for 20 years with family and friends. It is family friendly. Pool for the kids and adults, beach and snorkeling out the front door, ocean rentals on the property. You really have everything at your fingertips. The building continues to upgrade as well as the units. My niece and her new husband honeymooned here and found it wonderful. Can't beat the sunsets. The units are great for cooking if you don't feel like going out. Laundry facilities are located on each floor. Central to all kinds of activities. Security is very good 24/7."
