  • Lovely condo, amazing view!

"First of all, 803 at the Mana Kai is a lovely condo inside and out. The owners have it all set up with everything we needed for our stay. The bedroom was very comfortable. We left the windows open so we could hear the ocean all night. The kitchen is well stocked the bathrooms have plenty of towels, including beach towels. My favorite part of this condo, however, was the view. This condo is on the top floor (8th floor) and it has one of the best views at the Mana Kai. Every morning we woke up to have coffee and breakfast on the lanai with a spectacular view. We could often see sea turtles right from the lanai. It's a perfect spot for relaxing and reading a good book. This was our second stay at the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai is on a lovely beach on the South side of Kihei. It's a great location -- close enough to easily travel to the town for groceries, shops, restaurants, but far enough to be away from the crowds. The beach itself is beautiful. We have never seen it crowded. There is nice snorkeling right outside the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai has a good restaurant right downstairs. They have an extended happy hour and it's a great, convenient place to go for a light dinner and drinks. They also have rentals right at the Mana Kai now, something that wasn't present the last time we visited, which was about seven years ago. Now you can rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, boogie boards and snorkel gear right on site. We took advantage of this and rented both kayaks and stand up paddle boards at reasonable rates. The pool has been re-done since we were last there and it is very pleasant. We never had to fight for lounge chairs at the pool or on the large grassy area next to the beach, as we have had to do at other resorts on Maui. The owners are also very nice. We were scheduled to fly in right when not one, but two hurricanes were projected to hit Hawaii. The owners allowed us to delay our trip at the last minute and we really appreciated that. Overall we had a wonderful stay at 803 Mana Kai. If you want to have a lovely, relaxing vacation, I recommend you come here. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. Nine days was not enough."

  • Wonderful Value, comfortable & well equipped Condo

"We were lucky enough to spend 9 blissfull days on Maui for a family vacation. The Maui Kamaole Complex is quite beautiful with great pools and lush gardens/lawns. It is near Kam Beach III so therefore close to Wailea, and on the quiet end of South Kihei Rd. We rented bikes instead of a car and got around brilliantly. Mark and Tracey's unit is clean, bright and very well equipped. My husband and I enjoyed that all of the bath towels were cotton (haha, a minor issue but so often polyester prevails!!). We love to cook, and the kitchen was great and equipped with sharp knives and everything we needed (down to Saran Wrap and alluminum foil). The WiFi worked brilliantly and there was loads of beach stuff in the closet. The pool is a short walk (don't forget to take your read books and exchange them at the little shelf near the pool!) There is no view from the unit but the back lanai is still a great place to sit and relax (there is wonderful grass if you had children off the lanai and loads of room to play). We very much enjoyed the unit and would return! A tremendous value on Maui. Many Thanks for the great stay."

  • Wonderful quiet place and great communication

"Sandy was great from the start. Wonderful communication and instructions so we were able to locate and enjoy the unit from the first moment. This condo is not directly on the beach but a very close walk and not the traffic noise you would get right on Kihei road. Unit was in excellent condition and very clean. Everything we needed was there. I would recommend this owner to anyone. Thanks again, Sandy!!"

  • A Lovely Condo at a Reasonable Price

"We spent 15 wonderful days and nights at this condo perfectly situated in South Kihei with easy access, to many beautiful beaches. The condo had everything that we needed, including a coffee grinder. The unit was lovely and there was a partial ocean view from the lanai, which was a wonderful setting to enjoy our morning coffee. While we are predominantly beach people, and we spent a good portion of every day on the beach, we did use the pool a few time in the later afternoon or evening. Wednesday afternoon was a nice community time at the pool, where complementary Mai Tai's were served, and we enjoyed performances of traditional Hawaian dances. We definitely want to stay at this condo again as soon as we can fit it into our vacation schedule."
