Breathtaking Home Base in Paradise!
"The view upon entering this unit is breathtaking. We have been traveling to Maui for ten years. We have been staying at condos in this complex for five years. The owners of this condo have furnished and completed this unit perfectly from the artwork to the kitchen accoutrements. there was nothing missing. We took photographs immediately upon entering the living room of the view out to the lanai, across the marble tiles and on to the palm trees and the ocean. The furnishings - including the extremely comfortable double recliner in front of the tv - were top notch. The master bathroom was perfect. We wanted to bring home all of the artwork, including the wonderful photographs of the women performing hula in the bedroom. The dishes, stainless, and pots and pans were perfect and there was a wide selection to choose from. As we always cook at "home", the wide range of barbeque utensils was much appreciated. Dinner out on the lanai nightly while watching the sunset felt private and magical. The HE washer and drier were easy to use and performed quickly. The owners contacted us upon arrival to be certain that all our needs wee met, and again after departure to let us know how much they appreciated our business. We have found our "home" on Maui!
In terms of local activities, we are in our sixties and discovered surfing three years ago. The staff of Maui Surfer Girls have been amazing. They have celebrated two seniors learning to surf and we have learned something new from each member of their staff. We have been working with them for our last three visits and can't wait to get back for more! Sensei Japanese Restaurant is one of our favorites. It is worth standing in line on Mondays at 4:30 for the 5:30 opening to get 50% off on all sushi. It is a great way to meet locals and hear about new things to try. Mama's Fish House is a regular stop for us. We also enjoyed a visit to a small, very local sushi house in Haiku named Nuka. Incredibly fresh fish and very wonderful dining experience.
After many days of surfing out elderly bodies craved massage. Not wanting to become another tourist at a spa venue, we consulted Trip Advisor and called Wailea Massage and Body Care, located in a small local house on the Kihei/Wailea border, about five minutes from the condo. We had a couple's massage on the lanai with two amazingly talented women, Linda and Abby. We have had massages all over the world, and theirs was the best by far!"

"This condo was perfect for our family of 5, right across the street from a beautiful sandy beach and large grassy area perfect for watching the gorgeous sunsets, playing games & picnicking! The property has the feel of a resort, with lovely landscaping and arrangement of the various buildings for a feeling of privacy and quiet. The unit itself was sparkling clean on arrival and well equipped with everything we could possibly want and need in the kitchen and with beach toys galore! We appreciated the full laundry set up and detergent provided along with many other amenities. This was our first time using VRBO and just having the luxury of space made for a very relaxing and comfortable time for all - sure beats a hotel room any day!!!"

"There are two aspects of staying at this condo development; first is the well maintained and beautifully landscaped complex and second is this lovely, well-furnished and updated unit. (As an example, the front door has a key pad which means guests do not need to worry about losing a key at the beach!) It is a quiet unit away from the traffic noise of the lower and upper thoroughfares.
Unlike most condos, the kitchen has all the utensils and accessories one could want on holiday plus it has a full array of condiments. This means guests do not need to purchase the basics like salt & pepper which saves aggravation (gosh can’t make something because we don’t have “x”) and saves money. It also includes all of the beach and sports items you could ever want - a great help and greatly appreciated.
The condo is in a prime location across from the lower pool. It is an easy walk to beaches and restaurants such as 5 Palms (great spot for breakfast right on the ocean).
Trish, the owner, was excellent to deal with. She left clear and thorough instructions and followed up on our arrival to ensure everything was going smoothly. We highly recommend this unit."

"We stayed for four days in July 2105, after spending one night each in Kula (and getting up early for the sunrise on Haleakala) and Hana. We have stayed in Kihei several times; this condo in Maui Kamaole is simply perfect. So comfortable, with an incredible view and location; so well appointed and thoughtfully prepared for visitors. The location in Kihei is great: easy drive to Foodland or Times market for groceries; quick jump off to the highway to get to other parts of the island; and south Kihei down Ulua Beach, all the way to Le Perouse Bay is pretty convenient. Craig and Jill have thought of everything. We will very definitely be back."
