Well-stocked condo with everything you'll need for your vacation
"My daughter and I stayed in this unit for 8 nights and had a fabulous time! Some things that stood out: Super nice, well-stocked kitchen; all the beach stuff we needed for the week; two very nice pools in the complex; walking distance to shops, restaurants, beaches (Kam I, II, and III); air conditioning was great at night when the trade winds died down. Wifi worked fine for us, and we appreciated the nice big flat screen TVs! The lanai has a great view and the grounds are well-maintained."

"It was just as advertised... beautiful views, great location, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and quality linens, everything you could want or need for a beach vacation included. The facility itself is immaculate and the people working and staying there are friendly, helpful and warm. We watched the sunset every evening, watched whales from our balcony while sipping wine and beer and had a very special time. I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay in Maui in the less crazy and busy areas. We had booked a whale watch and were able to walk to the boat dock just minutes from the property. Many guests used the gas grills, shuffle board, putting greens, etc. They even had a sign up for those who wanted to play golf. The owners were easy to work with and very responsive to our questions. If we return to Maui there is simply no question about where we would stay... right here!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Kamaole sands. The grounds are beautiful and the complex is directly across from the beach. Our unit was beautiful, clean, fully functional and the lanai has a great ocean view. It's close to the pool, which my kids loved. My kids enjoyed looking out the window or off the lanai through the lush growing huge leafed trees to see how busy the pool was (which it was never even close to crowded). The grilling areas were perfect and always easily accessible and very clean. Arlene was incredibly informative before we arrived and very friendly, helpful and concerned that we have a great stay. I personally enjoyed the ocean path for early morning runs. It officially begins about a quarter mile past the Kihei Surfside resort and is a paved running/walking path that goes into Wailea. It's a 6 mile round trip from Kamaole sands. Just beautiful.
The concierge has a 1 hour "island orientation" at 8:30 am your first morning there. It was informative but a little pushy with having you schedule trips. She had strongly recommended the catamaran trip to Molokini and Turtle town for snorkeling. It was a very crowded boat and we didn't get to do either because the water was too rough. We did snorkel near the shore somewhere and it was like combat snorkeling ...hundreds of people all trying to see the same turtle. Our favorite day of all was when we went with Blue Water Rafting, just out of the Kihei boat launch right near the condo. We took the Molokini Express.. 11:30 am to 2 pm. They bring you right out there on their raft like speed boat for two hours. It was perfect. The water was rough but that made the ride pretty fun and we got to snorkel the back side of Molokini which was fantastic. The snorkeling was amazing. There were only 8 of us on the boat. It was perfect. We even saw Dolphins right next to our boat. And we rented an underwater camera from a place just down the road by the cinnamon bun place.. 25 dollars for the day. We got the best pictures snorkeling and even better pictures that my kids took of themselves under water in the pool later that day. (Four of them are now enlarged, framed and on my wall at home). Such a great vacation. We hope to go back every year."

"My husband and I stayed in this unit for nearly 3 weeks. The location of the unit is so convenient to every thing on the island. Richard, the owner, was so accommodating and helpful while we were planning our visit. Kamaole Sands is a well-kept complex, great BBQ's and very family-friendly."
