Great place to stay on Maui
"We spent a week in the condo, and were happy to have found it. The floor plan affords privacy to two parties. It is meticulously cleaned for new arrivals. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed and its own bathroom. A couch with a fold-out queen bed can be used by children; there is a full bathroom for them as well. The kitchen has been remodeled tastefully and is stocked with all kinds of kitchenware. Guests can cook and enjoy their meals in full view of the ocean. The patio is on a small hill, overlooking a street, the beach and the water, where we saw passing whales. Great sunsets, birds and geckos make for lively time. The condo is in a great location: walking distance to beaches, food stores, coffee shops, surf schools. With a car (the condo has its own parking space) you can get to the best beach on the island (Makena - the Big Beach) within 15 minutes. We especially appreciated the buggy boards, beach umbrella and chairs provided by the owners - nearby beaches have good waves for beginner body-surfers. All of this made for a care-free, memorable vacation, and we certainly intend to go back to this place."

"We stayed in this condo for two weeks. From our lanai we could see the ocean and even managed to see whales twice from the lanai. It is nice and close to Kamaole Beach III which is a fun beach and park. The kids enjoyed playing there often. The park was often busy at sunset as it was a prime location to view the nightly sunset which is beautiful. The unit is close to the pool but not too close so that you hear the noise from the pool. The owner was very helpful when booking and made sure we would have what we needed. There were 9 of us going and it was big enough for all of us (2 were young kids). It is in a quiet location but close enough to amenities such as ice cream store, little shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Beds were very comfortable! Fans were used regularly as A/C couldn't cool off the loft. It worked well for the living room but that's about it. The unit was clean. It was stocked with the basics like toilet paper, dish soap, etc. There were even leftovers from previous guests including cereal, pop, juice, spices, etc. We used the BBQs to make dinner and found they were not busy all the time. Having boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs and beach towels was a HUGE bonus. These are not things I would like to pack in my suitcase so knowing they were provided made life wonderful for me. Owners were very helpful and willing to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We would stay in this unit again!"

"We really enjoyed staying in this 2 bedroom unit. The pictures don't do this place justice. It is even better in person. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds that worked for our 2 boys. We've stayed at numerous units at Maui Kamaole before and this one was our favorite by far. It had everything we needed (boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, coolers). The self making ice machine was an added bonus. The kitchen was well stocked, allowing us to make many meals at home; important when travelling with three kids.
Juli was great to deal with. She was prompt on her replies and was readily available if we had any questions or concerns.
We highly recommend this unit and look forward to renting it in the future."
