  • Rooms with a View

"Situated on the front row of the Maui Kamaole resort, right across the street from Kamaole Beach #3 (easily the best of the three), this stylish villa provides all the comforts of home and then some with a heart-stopping view of the ocean, west Maui and the island of Lanai. The sunsets are spectacular, the location is perfect and Christine and Mark are wonderful hosts who care enough for their guests to have the very best. The furnishings are stylish and comfortable. This condo has just about everything you need to have a great base for a vacation on one of the world's most popular islands. Our two plus weeks included great fun, food and fantastic adventures but each day began and ended in this true home away from home. Thanks to Mark and Christine for letting us share their home and hospitality. Can't wait to go back! Mahalo!"

  • We love Kamole Sands

"This is our second trip to Kamole Sands, first time in this unit, It won't be our last. The location is perfect with beaches and pools all within walking distance. No loud party scene so you can sleep well at night, the birds start singing at 6am so bring your earplugs if you want to sleep in. This condo is very much as advertised and we felt it was priced fairly for what you got. It was very clean and well appointed - there were no surprises. Cupboards were well stocked with seasons/spices/condiments and all the "little" things that you usually forget to bring. The closet on the (large) lanai was full of beach toys/chairs/loungers/boogie boards so you don't have to buy that stuff for just a weeks worth of use. There were even 4 tennis rackets with a sleeve of balls so the kids and I could play tennis at the Kam Sands courts. Communication with the owners was easy and strait forward. We appreciate that the resort fee and cleaning fees were pre-paid so that we didn't have to mess with that at check-in. Some of the best snorkeling is right at Kamole 3 beach across the road. We rented bikes one day from South Maui bikes in "downtown" Kihei and got a drop off at teh top of Haleakala for a great ride down. Advice: skip the sunrise to avoid traffic on the road to Haleakala. There were very few cars on the winding mountain road on a weekday between 8am and noon. The AC unit is functional, if not a little noisy. We are from Alaska, so we ran it most nights to keep the temp down a few degrees. If you are from the lower-48 you probably wouldn't use it at all. There was a nice TV that we never used. We would definitely recommend this unit and consider it for a return trip in the future."

Kitchen fully equipped even spices;) the pool and beach equipment awesome. We came down with 60 plus people and this unit was the best! (Out of all of what we saw) From great view to quiet building. I honestly felt like we could live there permanently :) Matt was was so accommodating to us with the ease of early and late check ins! This was our very first time to Hawaii and we are planning to come back in the next year! Thank you do very much Matt! :)"

  • Very nice condo

"We enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was very clean and well stocked. The beach chairs and the boogie boards were very well used. The ease of dealing with the owners was fantastic and if you had any questions they responded immediately. I would recommend this property to anyone and would certainly book again next trip down to Maui."
