  • Great location and amenities for family of 5

"This condo was perfect for our family of five. It was clean, well-furnished, and stocked with little extras such as beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and beach towels which we greatly appreciated. Furthermore, the property was quiet and felt more residential than living with stacks of people. The location was great for all our adventures. We originally looked into staying in West Maui (Marriott), but agreed this was the better property for us and our style of travel. There is a beautiful beach across the street with amazing sunsets. Our favorite beach (for boogie boarding and snorkeling) was a short drive away. Thank you for a great stay. We would stay here again and will recommend your condo to others."

  • All the conforts of home in a paradise setting

"We absolutely loved our 7 nights stay at this unit. It has everything you could need and more. It's equiped with high end appliances and kitchen cookware. The beds were super confortable as was the lounge area. The views are excellent as it faces both the ocean and the mountains behind. It's north west orientation kept the unit cooler also. Having barely no trade winds during our stay and very humid temperatures, we were glad we we not facing south! Great beach and snorkeling just a minute walk. Leslie, the manager was very helpfull and the renting process was simple and fast. Don't hesitate, this ones a gem!"

  • Walking friendly beautiful location

"My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and loved it! The location is ideal. You can walk to three great beaches easily and to yummy restaurants. Kamaole Beach II is literally only a 3 minute walk from the front door. We loved swimming there and it was a great place to watch sunsets from. Several times we saw whales and turtles from the shore. I loved that the condo was on the ground floor; no lugging luggage up stairs. The condo itself is very clean and nicely decorated. The bedroom has a king bed which made for a great sleep. The condo is well situated on the property; close to the pool and laundry facilities but far enough back from the noise that there was no road noise. My favourite part of the condo was the private back patio surrounded by plants. It was a very peaceful place to have coffee every morning. The cactus on the patio has two resident brown anoles that love to sun themselves, very cute! Lots of beautiful flowering bushes and trees on the property as well. As an added bonus, we greatly appreciated the treats that Hope left for us. Nothing like arriving after a long day of flying to find chocolate and pineapple waiting for us! Things we did that we loved (beyond the beach): snorkelling around either point of Kam II beach, whale watching, eating seafood at Cafe O'lei and Coconuts, eating local food at Da Kitchen, eating macadamian nut cinnamon buns from Kihei Cafe, visiting the Maui Ocean Centre (use your AAA card for discount), getting a massage from Massage Maui down the street, going ziplining with Flyin High Zipline (first class operation, expensive but worth it). It truth there was much more that we wanted to do but ran out of time. We will be back :)"

  • Fantastic Location

"Maui has lots of great beaches, but this one worked particularly well for the kids because of the gradual gradient into the water. We found it comparable to Polo Beach and Wailea Beach. For the small kids we felt it was safer than Big Beach and Napoli Beach. The sand was very clean and perfect for sand castles and it was never crowed in front of the condo. Frommers 2015 rated it as one of the three best beaches in Maui for families. The downside of this location is that it’s right on the main Kihei drag, which isn't my idea of a tropical paradise. But the resort provided a pleasant backdrop to the beach and separated it from the road. We walked Kamaole I, II and III and felt the complex had the best location on the three beaches and probably the best location in Kihei. The other great part of the beach was the snorkeling just to the right on the rocky area separating Kamole I and II. The first reef extending out from the shore was decent but the second one was even better with thousands of fish, anemones, etc. And we saw turtles there every day we snorkeled. The condo itself was nicely updated. The view was spectacular including from the dining and living rooms (no need to strain the neck), where you can also easily hear the waves because the ocean is so close. There is only a single elevator, but we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes. Parking was easy. The kitchen appliances are recent and the ice maker worked. The two bathrooms were both remodeled and we never ran out of hot water."
