  • Fantastic Location

"Maui has lots of great beaches, but this one worked particularly well for the kids because of the gradual gradient into the water. We found it comparable to Polo Beach and Wailea Beach. For the small kids we felt it was safer than Big Beach and Napoli Beach. The sand was very clean and perfect for sand castles and it was never crowed in front of the condo. Frommers 2015 rated it as one of the three best beaches in Maui for families. The downside of this location is that it’s right on the main Kihei drag, which isn't my idea of a tropical paradise. But the resort provided a pleasant backdrop to the beach and separated it from the road. We walked Kamaole I, II and III and felt the complex had the best location on the three beaches and probably the best location in Kihei. The other great part of the beach was the snorkeling just to the right on the rocky area separating Kamole I and II. The first reef extending out from the shore was decent but the second one was even better with thousands of fish, anemones, etc. And we saw turtles there every day we snorkeled. The condo itself was nicely updated. The view was spectacular including from the dining and living rooms (no need to strain the neck), where you can also easily hear the waves because the ocean is so close. There is only a single elevator, but we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes. Parking was easy. The kitchen appliances are recent and the ice maker worked. The two bathrooms were both remodeled and we never ran out of hot water."

  • 12 Days Wasn't Enough

"We just returned to the mainland after 12 fabulous days staying in this condo. Our time in Kihei was perfect. This condominium complex is perfectly located within walking distance of everything you could possibly want or need. Grocery store, ABC store, Marketplace shopping, restaurants, shave ice stands, BEACHES, surf lesson/rental shop right next door, I could go on. I recommend this condominium complex highly. Working with Jim and Ed were effortless and they were always quick with a response. The condo was clean, updated beautifully, and comfortable. Mahalo, Jim, Carolyn! We cannot wait to return to your gorgeous island paradise!"
