  • wonderful!!

"The price was so good that I was a little bit worried that might mean the quality wouldn't be. I am a pretty optomistic person though and I was sure glad we went for it! It was a sweet place with everything we would need, the most comfortable bed and pillows we have ever slept on, and a very friendly and helpful owner that actually called to make sure we got in alright and to see if we had any questions. He also told us about a few great spots to go and how to get there. The view wasn't great if you looked down (an empty lot) but if you looked out you had a good view of another part of the island. i would definatly stay here again and recomend it to all my friends."

  • Can't wait to come back!

"We arrived on Maui in the evening but had no trouble finding the home with the fantastic directions given to us from Hope Marie. Upon our arrival, there were no issues getting into the home, and once we did, what a pleasant surprise. The house is beautiful, clean, well maintained and was plenty of room for our group. The ocean is just a quick walk away, one block in fact, if you like to get up early and go for a run or a stroll, this is the perfect location for you. The house is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, markets, rentals, really everything you might need! As said in a previous review, the home does not have air conditioning, but there are plenty of fans in the home that we ran to keep the air moving and they were more than sufficient for sleeping comfortably at night. We can't wait to return to Maui and would most definitely return to this home!"

  • Maui

"Prefer a bigger bed and safety bars in bathroom. We were dealing with one of two people with a broken arm."

  • Family Spring Beak Getaway

"Recently returned from a wonderful family spring break in Kihei. We were told the weather has been rainier this spring than usual, but it didn't seem to affect our beach time at all! The condo was lovely and comfortable, much much nicer than the Mauiforfunandsun.com photos of the unit led us to believe. Our view was amazing, we had a clear view of the sunsets, even saw whales breaching from the lanai, and were able to send the kids (8&10) down to the pool without us as we could watch them from the balcony. The main beds were super comfortable, and we were able to get a nice cross breeze blowing through with the front and back open. The loft fan was a little noisy, just required forethought in turning it on an hour before bed. Didn't use the a/c at all. Wouldn't recommend the sofa bed for anyone, but there were two foam pad fold-aways in the unit. As forewarned, the kitchen was entirely cleaned out (bring all your own spices and condoments), but there were beach chairs and boogey boards from previous guests we were glad to have use of. The location has easy access to the beaches for swimming and boogie boarding, even saw sea turtles across the road. A few minute drive in either direction brings a wealth of snorkelling and surf lessons too. Spent many windy afternoons in the shelter of the KS pool area. Highly recommended. Thanks Jackie!"
