"The house was great for our family (6 adults and two small children)The pool and outside eating area was fantastic. The house itself was comfortable. Kitchen was good a few more dishes would help but on the whole everything worked out well."

  • Girls Getaway

"This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Mana Kai. The facilities are just really something special. We enjoyed the pool, grass lounging area and 5 Palms Restaurant (what a happy hour!) very much. The view from every single inch of the Mana Kai is incredible. It's right on the beach. A beautiful beach at that! Our stay in Patty's condo was beyond relaxing. The sound of waves can be clearly heard from both bedroom suites. There were 3 of us women and plenty of space for us to spread out. We loved the beach themed motif. The kitchen includes every single item you would need to make delicious meals. And, the place is so tidy! It was honestly a home away from home. Thank you Patty. We will definitely book this condo again in the future."

  • Perfect way to see Maui!

"This was our first trip to Hawaii and I have a hard time believing we'll ever go to another island or stay at another place! The condo is clean and beautiful and really embraces the relaxing and unhurried feel of the island life itself. The best part of it all was the most wonderful (and incredibly thorough) hand made binder on the coffee table compiling all sorts of insider tips about the island sights, trips, restaurants, etc. from Jerry and Meredith. They even appear to be constantly updating it every time they're back and with finds their renters come across on their vacations as well. Jerry and Meredith are incredibly hospitable and really seem to take a true interest in ensuring all their guests enjoy every aspect of their trip in all the tiny details and accesses they allow their renters. My favorite part of the trip was something we found in the binder. While we also did the Road to Hana, Jerry and Meredith's binder gave us tips to do a drive of a "Tour of the West Side" around the north crater, and also recommended driving through the state park on the south side of the island to get back to Kihei instead of turning back and going home from the Hana the same way when we did the Road to Hana. Those two far less travelled paths were my favorite parts of the trip. We loved realizing that the location was still very central to everything on the island and that we were able to easily head every direction for our sightseeing, but that it was removed from the more commercial areas and the cruise line ports. This was just our style! We'll be back! :-)"

  • My first VRBO and it was wonderful

"I've stayed at Kamaole Sands before. Someone told me about VRBO and that was great advice. This unit was nice and very well supplied, kitchen, baths, linens, outdoor needs. It's a short walk to the beach. I enjoyed Fred's Mexican Restaurant, a 15 minute walk for "Taco Tuesday and Margherita specials" while relaxing with their evening ocean view. Had the best massage in the most relaxing, healing atmosphere when I called the Four Seasons Resort for the special they advertised in the paper. I would highly recommend this rental."
