  • Enjoyed my vacation

"I recently returned from my Maui vacation of 2 weeks at the Royal Mauian. This is the 7th time I've stayed at the Royal Mauian out of the 9 times I've visited Maui in the last 16 years. I keep returning to this property because I find it to be the perfect place for a wonderful Mauian vacation. It is just steps away from two beautiful beaches. Good snorkeling right in front of condo. This time we saw a family of 4-5 turtles! The roof top garden is great for BBQs and to watch the sunset while eating. The property continues to be very well maintained. The swimming pool area is clean and quiet. You have everything you need just around the condo: stores, restaurants, water sports rentals, shaved ice, etc. The one thing that was different with this trip is that it was my first time dealing directly with the condo owner and it proved to be a very good experience. It was great to be able to initially communicate directly with Paul, who really helped me make this vacation possible. He was very kind and understanding. And then, the local property management people he uses to deal with while in Maui are also very pleasant and helpful. Upon arrival to the unit, we found a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates and 2 bottles of water awaiting for us on the dining table. They had gone in prior and turned the lights and the music on to ensure a welcoming ambience. They also offered me their computer, copier, fax machine and their help with anything I needed while in the island. It felt very personal and comfortable to deal with Paul-the owner and with Don and Ken from 5Star Maui Resorts, Inc (their office is across the street from the condo building!). My elderly mother, teenager niece, a friend myself were all very happy with our vacation and truly enjoyed our stay this unit of the Royal Mauian. I would definitely return to this unit and recommend it to friends and family."

  • Surpassed our wishes!!

"THANK YOU to owners Kathy & Vic for sharing their amazing 'home away from home'. We wanted for nothing, as the unit is so well equipped, stocked & organized. Yes, what we experienced surpassed the VRBO pics & description. Additionally, Ppty Mgrs Todd & Cheryl were professional, warm & helpful, they do a fabulous job maintaining the ppty & amenities. Owner Kathy was prompt, helpful and responsive to all communications. We would highly recommend the property for being quiet & convenient. What we enjoyed: @ Kamaole Beaches I, II & II walks, families playing in the surf, relaxing in shade of the trees in the park by the Kam I, paddleboarding (early), FOOD: Maui Flatbread Co for great pizza & fun ambiance @ Paia, a run to Costco for loading up on month's worth of drygoods/groc, Hawaiian Moon Health Food Grocer 1 blk away, Wed/Sat Farmers Market (5 min bus ride), wonderful juice bar by beach walkway near Wailea, Longhi's Bar for lunch, within walking distance ... Fred's for fun/relaxed cocktail hour with many photoshop pics to amuse, 808 Restaurant for breakfast, TRANSPORT: Kihei Car Rental, Kihei Taxi (Mark), convenient public transit stops. FUN: whale watching @ it's prime (daily playful displays), World Whale Day Parade & Festival @ Kalama Park (with many vendor/artisan booths & music)! Had some quiet days reading by the pool and the BBQ's were immaculate. WHAT A FABULOUS VACATION!!"
