"Great complex, location, condo !!! Very friendly staff and courteous renters. This condo has all that you will need plus an awesome ocean view from sunrise to sunset. The location was superb, you can walk almost anywhere if there for a short stay and the bus system is great ($4 for the day). Definitely we will return to this complex ... Looking for a longer term stay of 3-5 months !!! Mahalo"

  • BEAUTIFUL CONDO IN BEST AREA!

"This was our second stay at Cynthia's lovely Kalama Terrace condo (& fifth trip to Maui). This is a beautiful & comfortable condo! The photos are very accurate and you will find your new Maui "home" in this condo! You can relax in the condo or by the great pool! We only ate out a few times per week because we can use the grill by the pool or the full size gas stove. The pool is very nice & gave us an opportunity to meet other vacationers and owners. Very conveniently, Kalama Terrace is 2 blocks from Charley Young Beach - our favorite - OR 3 blocks to Cove Park & beach. Kihei is the best area, we think, on Maui and this condo is the best! (We visited 4 condos in different locations and none even begin to compare to "our" Kalama Terrace condo!) There are many restaurants to choose from but we LOVED Eskimo Candy - just north of the condo - with many fish and shrimp choices! Also, Kihei Car Rental is the best rental company we have dealt with and they are located in Kihei. Check them out! Cynthia is great to work and VERY quick to respond if there is a question or issue! We appreciate her sharing this condo with us and we will be back!"

  • What a view! What a Stay!

"My family has stayed at the Hale Kamaole for years now. The views, location, casual but quiet atmosphere and ease of getting around has made it our home away from home. This year, we had the pleasure of spending a week in this unit and I'm so happy we found it. The view is fantastic on this side of the complex because the full sunset is visable. From the deck you can also see both pools, all of the grounds, the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The pictures posted are 100% accurate. The interior of the condo is very comfortable and clean with the 2 bedrooms (both of which has beautiful foliage views), the loft and enough seating in the public areas for a family of at least 4. The kitchen is very well stocked with enough spices and condiments to cook good, quick meals. I always appreciate finding a cupboard that has at least some basics, and this kitchen was better than most. All appliances are new and easy to use. Everything needed for a day at the beach can be found in the outdoor closet and the supply of beach towels is more than adequate. All of my communication with the owner of this condo was excellent! I trusted her completely from the beginning and her responsiveness throughout our reservation and stay was much appreciated. I also found the on-site manager/maintainance staff to be wonderful, attentive and helpful. Kamaole Beach III is right across the street. It's a very nice little cove with gentle waves to play in. Right next door is Kamaole II which is a large strip of beach that has the boogie boarder waves. A short drive south, is Keawakapu beach which is a hidden gem! A good size shady parking lot is across the street and the path to the beach is a very easy, short walk. It is the quintessential Hawaiian beach with a long curve of white sand, palm trees, and an peaceful, uncrowded ocean. A very short walk up the beach is the Mana Kai resort which rents paddle boards, kayaks... The Mana Kai is also home to Maui Yoga Path, which has a yoga class every morning on the beach, as well as many in their ocean front studio. Their program is geared for beginners as well as experienced guests, and I found it to be a welcome discovery! From start to finish our 2014 week in Maui was one of the best. The Hale Kamaole was a great as ever and I can't recommend this particular condo highly enough."

  • Wonderful condo for our Maui getaway

"My husband and I had an AWESOME time in Maui. This condo was a wonderful retreat after being out seeing the sights, snorkeling or lounging at the pool. Kamaole Sands was a beautiful place. Sitting on the lanai for breakfast, and enjoying the breeze out there in the afternoon was one of the best parts of our stay. All the amenities that are provided in the condo were so helpful, (i.e. the coolers, beach bags, beach towels, ice blocks for coolers etc.) those conveniences helped make our outings so simple! The trade winds that come through the condo make it so pleasant. Ileene was great to work with, she was so helpful with any questions, and had some great advice for our first visit to Maui. Kamaole Sands was also a great location for us. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance. We took surfing lessons just up the street at Waves Hawaii, and the drive to snorkel at turtle town in Makena is only about 10 min. We can't say enough about how everything worked out so great. What a wonderful surprise to find a pleasant, clean and well equipped condo in a beautiful area for such a reasonable price (in Hawaii)!! Thanks Ileene for such a wonderful first time rental experience!!"
