  • Great Beach Rental

"We stayed in this adorable rental for a little over a month while we transistioned from the mainland to Maui. Upon arrival we were very pleased with the rental. It has plenty of space for a couple or small family. We loved having a private driveway behind locked gates. We brought two dogs with us and we all enjoyed the private back yard. The house has great access to Kihei. You are down the street from everything! Stores, bars, restaurants, and, of course, the beach. We walked our dogs to the beach every day and sometimes would return with coffee or pizza in hand. A car isn't necessary unless you want to leave Kihei but then you could always just rent a mo-ped down the street! The only draw back to being so close to everything is the traffic noise. The house is directly on South Kihei Road which is the main street of the town. The family who lives in the main house and takes care of the property is awesome! They were always available if we had a question or maintenance issue. They are all friendly and open to chit-chat but they also respect your space and privacy. We were a little put-off by the owner (not the same as the property care-takers) at times. During our stay there were a couple of maintenance issues. When we spoke to the owner she would ask us to personally repair/handle the issues. We were disappointed to be asked to take care of things when we were paying vacation rental rates. We quickly learned it was more efficient and less labor intensive to speak with property care-takers. We are so happy we stayed at this rental because it was there that we fell in love with Kihei Town. We now live less than a mile from this sweet beach house!!"

  • Great condo and location!

"We rented the condo for two weeks over Christmas 2013 and couldn't have been happier with it. It was clean and stocked with everything you need. The pineapple in the fridge was a nice touch - best one we'd ever tasted. The location on the northern side of Kihei was great too. It was quieter than many of the other condos in the busier areas a bit further south. The sound of the ocean in the master bedroom at night was amazing! We spent a lot of time on the lanai as well, either having our morning coffee or watching the spectacular sunsets. We even saw some whales from the lanai, which we hadn't expected. The owners were very helpful and great to chat with. All in all, it was a great place and if we go back to Maui, we would definitely make this our first choice. Mahalo!"

  • Even better than described! Beautiful Hawaiian designed condo - don't pass it up!

"Jack & Michele have made an extremely comfortable home away from home in the true spirit of Aloha! The artwork & Hawaiian tile work in the condo is enviable and you'll wish it was yours! They have everything you need to enjoy the beach and outdoors and if it rains, there is sheer comfort and plenty to do indoors too! Books, games, big screen tv and sound system...a very comfortable bed, a hide-a-bed and even recliner to boot and a bump-out extending their lanai overlooking one of the on-site pools! Kam II beach is a 4 min walk across the driveway and street and good restaurants and mini-malls are within walking distance. It's fun to visit with others from all over at the two pools. Each pool area has a covered area and several BBQ's if you are into cooking on-site! We had a great time and hope to stay here again one day soon. We highly recommend. Jack was very helpful and was a delight to work with. Thanks very much for sharing your home with us Michele and Jack!"
