"It's wonderful to stay in a place where everything is so handy. Landing in Maui, the property owner tipped us off to the local Costco; a few key purchases later (steak, fish, salad) we were on our way to Kihei Akahi. It's an easy drive and not difficult to find. Literally steps from a gorgeous beach, there are many restaurants within walking distance as well. Location means a lot to us but we would never return to a condo if it wasn't absolutely clean. This unit is pristine and I'm fussy. High quality sheets on a very comfy bed helped me sleep better than I do at home. I enjoy getting up early and reading on the balcony while my husband sleeps later. The building is quiet and peaceful, the gardens are well kept and the BBQ was a great place to meet the neighbours and find out what they had taken in during the day. Appointed with all the usual things you might need, this unit goes above and beyond with a beach cart that holds your chairs, an umbrella, a cooler and even your snorkeling gear. I can't think of a single thing that was missing. We went for an introductory scuba dive and were hooked! Can't wait to go back!"

  • Familes, friends, couples........stay here!!!!

"Excellent location steps from the beach. Beautiful clean condo with great amenities. Close to restuarants and surf hire shops. Easy to check in and out. Felt like 'a home away from home' which made our maui vacation just perfect."

  • Maui is Beautiful - This Condo was Great and We Loved it!!!

"What a magical place Maui is. We love it and come back every couple of years. We found this place on VRBO and not only was the price a good deal - the location is really close to everything in Kihei. We had a car - but only used it when we left the area. We were able to walk to most everything we needed (store, restaurant, kyack rental, etc.). The condo was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. When we had a couple of light bulbs go out, we called and they were replaced the same day. One recommendation - stop at COSTCO as you leave the airport and load up for the week. It made our stay easier and we had all that we needed (coffee, milk, Bfasts, snacks - and wine! ;-) We have recommended this place and the owners to 3 other friends who are coming later this year. We hope to come back again in a couple of years. Mahalo to the owners and his book keeper. A+++ experience!!! Highly recommended!"

  • Location location location!!!

"This is the ONE! We liked this unit because we could sit on the lanai and not get baked by the sun, but enjoy the amazing view! The view is off the hook, we saw tons of whales during our stay & we loved watching the kite surfers in the afternoons sometimes is up to his many as 30 in the surf. This condo is centrally located on the island, and was very comfortable had all the amenities you need. The rooftop barbecue area was a fun place to socialize in the evening while cooking, the pool was never crowded. The Indian restaurant had the most beautiful view, the food was good too. The owners where so easy to work with!! I can't wait to come back to 309. It was fantastic!!! S.Duncan Vacaville, CA"
