  • Best beach in Kihei!

"Absolutely, hands down, the best beach in Kihei! You cannot get closer to the beach, which is wide, plenty of places to snorkel, and has a soft green lawn as well. The condo is just out of town, so there is no traffic noise or congestion. A quick drive to restaurants and other adventures. We will never forget the gorgeous view from our lanai....."

  • Lovely condo, amazing view!

"First of all, 803 at the Mana Kai is a lovely condo inside and out. The owners have it all set up with everything we needed for our stay. The bedroom was very comfortable. We left the windows open so we could hear the ocean all night. The kitchen is well stocked the bathrooms have plenty of towels, including beach towels. My favorite part of this condo, however, was the view. This condo is on the top floor (8th floor) and it has one of the best views at the Mana Kai. Every morning we woke up to have coffee and breakfast on the lanai with a spectacular view. We could often see sea turtles right from the lanai. It's a perfect spot for relaxing and reading a good book. This was our second stay at the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai is on a lovely beach on the South side of Kihei. It's a great location -- close enough to easily travel to the town for groceries, shops, restaurants, but far enough to be away from the crowds. The beach itself is beautiful. We have never seen it crowded. There is nice snorkeling right outside the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai has a good restaurant right downstairs. They have an extended happy hour and it's a great, convenient place to go for a light dinner and drinks. They also have rentals right at the Mana Kai now, something that wasn't present the last time we visited, which was about seven years ago. Now you can rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, boogie boards and snorkel gear right on site. We took advantage of this and rented both kayaks and stand up paddle boards at reasonable rates. The pool has been re-done since we were last there and it is very pleasant. We never had to fight for lounge chairs at the pool or on the large grassy area next to the beach, as we have had to do at other resorts on Maui. The owners are also very nice. We were scheduled to fly in right when not one, but two hurricanes were projected to hit Hawaii. The owners allowed us to delay our trip at the last minute and we really appreciated that. Overall we had a wonderful stay at 803 Mana Kai. If you want to have a lovely, relaxing vacation, I recommend you come here. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. Nine days was not enough."

  • Great stay!

"The condo was very clean and at 5 minutes drive from grocery and restaurant. The outdoor BBQ, pool and spa was appreciated ! The reimbursement of the depot was made a couple of weeks later. Maybe the deposit method could be more efficient (credit card/electronic transfer, vrbo). The unit is well situated on the island. There is a cute small beach at 2 minutes walk. Great service from the owner ! There will have some aunts on the counter if you let your food on it. However it's very easy to control them. Not an issue."
