  • Hope to Return

"My love and I just returned from an amazing trip to Maui, anchored by this beautiful condo to stay in. Location, location, location. Positioned in South Kihei, you can experience every aspect of Maui within an hour's drive. From shopping for staples at Costco in Kahului (30 minutes away) to starting your Road to Hana at the same time. In 40 minutes, you can go on a wonderful cruise to Lana'i (as we did) from the Lahaina Harbour. Or you might want to just wander across the street to the beautiful sand beaches of Kamaole I, II, and III to lay in the sun, jump on the provided body boards, or snorkel with turtles (yes, we did that too). And at the end of the day, watch the amazing view from the lanai and enjoy your neighbours signalling the sunset with a conch shell. My girlfriend and I prefer the small town feel of Kihei to neighbouring Wailea or Lahaina, and this condo felt like a home. Matt and Shu, we thank you immensely for allowing us to stay your beautiful condo. We had the time of our lives and hope we will be back soon."

  • Great location; everything you need

"The number of favorable reviews for this property is well-deserved. Everything is as described -- it comes well stocked with water & beach items so you don't have to haul your own. Walking distance to many great restaurants & beach spots, easy drives to everywhere else. The condo is clean, open & airy. We did not need the AC with the terrific evening breezes. There is so much to do in Maui we did not use the community amenities but appreciated what was available. We all agreed that this would be our home base next time we come back to visit our family in Kula. Aloha & mahalo Wen & Daniel!"

  • Amazing Sunsets!

"We stayed here for 6 nights and it was very comfortable. There were 3 adults and two kids (age 6 and 4). We had plenty of room to spread out. The kids shared the downstairs bedroom which had two large (double/queen) beds. My mom had the master bedroom with an amazing corner view of the ocean. My husband and I stayed in the 2nd bedroom which had the two twin beds converted to a king. The living room furniture is very comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked (coffee makers, crock pot, blender and plenty of dishes, pots, utensils, and spices, plus a community gas grill outside). The outside dining area was great for morning coffee and breakfasts and inviting for dinners and sunsets. The condo overlooks a big grassy area and easy access to sandy beaches on the left and right. There are lots of people wandering by to get from place to place so we had fun people watching. Also a lot of people migrate to this area for sunsets which were fantastic! My kids loved the pool and hot tub, and it was a nice feature to have after a day at the beach. They had lots of beach gear including towels, snorkel equipment (saw turtles just below our unit), and chairs. At the time of our stay there were also 3 hair dryers, a couple of curling irons and a flat iron! Wish I would have known this, although we were at the beach so often, I rarely styled my hair! We met the owners when they were stopping by to check the hot tub and work in the yard. They are a very nice couple and asked for our feedback. They really want to make this place comfortable! This property is gated, which added a nice secure feeling. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves all week. We have already booked this condo for 2016! Can't wait to go back."

  • a week in maui

"Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good experience. The safe was 'locked open' so unable to use. It was not remedied after a phone call. TV screen was very small and screens on the doors to the patio did not work well. Maybe we didn't read the 'fine print' - but didn't realize there was no a/c in unit. Very well equipped kitchen and lots of 'stuff' for the beach - chair, umbrella, towels and toys for kids."
